I just got a Huawei Ascend. Fantastic phone. I am looking for any new apps that you LOVE and I must have. Here is what I have so far:

Read this very subforum. It's chock full of app suggestions/recommendations and discussions. Not to mention countless identical threads if you're into the random "shotgun" approach ("mut have" is highly subjective) to trying new apps. If you're looking for specific apps then ask away.

The app I've been using almost daily is Diaro. The next is Catch for notes and last but not least Android Market.

"Music junk" - because freee music kicks ass and it pissess my iphone friends off

Also "fplus" is good it sends facebook notifications directly to your phone so you know instantly whenever you have a comment

I'd look for a skype type app as well. I am not sure if skype specifically work for your phone.

Considering your phone, I will definitely look for a good keyboard.

Skype is a good one.

Zedge is great for finding cool wallpapers and stuff.

Music Box is awesome for free MP3s and Ringtones, etc.

PS...I downloaded the Aquarium wallpaper from Zedge for 1.99 and it is so cool all my friends want it! hahaha

Do you have Cricket? What do you think of it?

Cricket is awesome service! The only downside to Cricket is they have the worst Customer Service in the world. Other than that....it's AWESOME!

Why pay 4 times the price for Verizon when you can get the same from Cricket and no contract?

Also...Cricket has recently partnered up with Sprint and dramatically increased their coverage.

Cricket is on the move. Look for more Smart Phones from them in the next few months.

You really can't beat the Huawei Ascend for the money!!!

Okay... what keyboard app?

Rusty...the keyboard that comes with the Ascend is great. I don't think you are going to find a better one with any of the apps.

You just need to experiment with the settings.

Slingplayer is my favorite app. You have to have a extra piece but the live tv is great.
