Ding ding! That's it! LeBron doesn't give a damn. If he would've cared he would've stayed in Cleveland. He would've made more money, made everyone happy, and probably would've never won a ring. 7 years is a lot in the sports world.Lol, I'm pretty sure he doesn't give a damn. As long as he increased his odds to win some rings, why not team up with some of the best in the sport at their respective positions.
I'm all for competition but you can't knock his choice to leave Cleveland. He was there 7 years. They couldn't build a team around him in 7 years? Give me a break. The man took a pay cut too just to play in Miami.
On a side note I'm loving all the Heat haters now. Now I know how Yankees fans feel.
Lol But, the Yankees still suck. Mets all the way. (full disclosure - I grew up just outside of NYC).fyi, Bostonians are a bunch of pansies.

With the way the Braves are playing and the Phillies acquiring Roy Oswalt.. I would pretty much say that the Mets postseason chances have just been shot to hell
by the way isnt this a frekin nba thread?
Reports now are that Chris Paul is going to stay put:

He did what was best for HIM. It's what we all do when making career decisions, why hate on him? Because he's in the spotlight? He never says he's the best, the media does. He doesn't compare himself to the Jordan, the media does. He does have an arrogant side but it would be hard not to when you have the country hyping you up since childhood.
It comes down to making a decision that makes himself and his family happy. He's playing with good friends and great teammates, he has a great shot to win multiple titles, and he's living in a very nice area now. He also is part of the Heat family...the franchise isn't as much an organization as it is a family. I can't say enough about Micky Arison and Pat Riley.

Timberwolves
Props for sticking by them. KHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAN!
Raptors fan here...a little hard to be excited for much more than giving the young guys a shot this season though. Looking forward to see what Ed Davis has.
People hate the Heat (and their fans) because their "fans" couldn't even sell out a playoff game. Their fans suck and there is nothing likeable about LeBron going on ESPN under the disguise of charity. Dude is sick. They gravy train. Bosh can't even get a team to the playoffs. But, yeah ... in no other league or sport do you see the kind of culture the NBA now represents. By the way, the Yankees have won the most titles in their respective sport; the Heat have fluked one. Face it, Heat fans, you are among the suckiest in the Association. Stick to football, where you don't bandwagon.
That being said, my team is the Blazers.
