Your phone is up to date??

I just tried checking for the Froyo update and got the message "Your phone is up to date"...flame me if you want, but I can't find anyone else with this issue since the official update showed.
 
I haven't updated to Froyo and it is telling me I am up to date. I want to update to Froyo...I am not rooted
 
Not sure but have you update using HTC Update? I updated to Froyo using HTC Update and not the Firmware, Profile nor PRL updates.
 
The update is gone. I called sprint tech support and was told there was a problem with the update. I suspect my unrevoked 3 was the cause of the problem i was having however. But at least as of tonight, there is no more OTA update available.
 
Meaning they're asking for the link that the OTA has been suspended due to problems with the update. I think he's talking about Motorolla Droids firmware update which may have been halted due to bugs with FRG01B. They're building a new version FRG22 and would be available soon.
 
There was a problem syncing with the google servers earlier today.

This may all have been something like a backbone problem on the net and an inability to deliver files.

Without more information, we don't know.

The last 5 or so days have been chock full of surprises.
 
I've been lurking on the forum for a couple of months but just joined today because I ran into the same problem as the OP. I have no idea if it's related to the post on the update being pulled, nor do I know if the update has in fact been pulled, but this is what happened to me:

I got the update notice this morning, but was at work and didn't want to stop to things to do it, so I canceled until I got home from work. I then did a manual update check, got the notice again, and began the update. About two minutes in, I got a "corrupt download" error. I tried manually checking for the update again and then got a "your phone is up to date" message.

I then did a soft restart, refreshed my profile and prl and tried again. Same "corrupt download" and then "your phone is up to date" messages. I then turned the phone off, pulled the battery, and restarted. I once again refreshed my prl and profile. Now trying for the last couple of hours, all I get is the, "your phone is up to date" message. I'm not in a 4G area, so I was attempting the download in "WiFi only" mode.

So either something is screwy with my phone, or they possibly did temporarily pull the update. At this point I'm just going to let it sit overnight and try to run the update again tomorrow.
 
That actually sounds a liitle bit like me...the update was there this morning..I was at hospital with my wife and couldn't do the update...home this evening and all is well...except I can't get the Froyo update now...surely it's not take it now of leave it...
 
Yeah, I haven't updated mine yet either, but over the last few days I have been checking the HTC Software Update anyways and I have always gotten a notification that the 2.2 update was available for download. However, when I checked for it again tonight, it was gone. It said there was no update available. Maybe their servers are down or HTC really did pull it.
 
I've never seen the offical OTA update. I have the unoffical that I installed a few days after that was released but i've been checking and rechecking using all the methods i've seen on here from other people and I still don't see it nor have I got a notification that it was available for download.
 
with this not being offered as an OTA anymore (temporarily i am sure).. will the people who manually installed it be offered the new OTA update when it is released????

Yeah, must have been temporarily unavailable for whatever reason last night on whatever servers service me. It showed up on my update search this morning and installed fine.
