Help YouTube 3D Videos No Longer Working + Pandora Mobile Streaming Issue

I noticed that 3D videos no longer work on YouTube. If I take 3D pictures or videos myself, they appear in 3D, so the 3D function itself still works. But videos that used to appear as 3D on YouTube, now only appear as 2 videos side-by-side. I did find a similar thread in the Evo 3D forum, but most of the users said that a battery pull fixed the issue for a while. However, this has done nothing for me. Has anyone had this issue, or does anyone know how to fix this?

(Don't want to start a separate thread, but does anyone also have an issue with Pandora on 3G? It runs fine if I'm connected to wifi, but will never load on 3G.)

Are you on wifi? I found that when I had a crappy 3g signal it would show up like that. I had to use wifi to see the 3d. Have you tried to toggle the HQ on the bottom left?
 
I have no 3d issues using the YouTube app, I don't watch links in my browser. As for Pandora, absolutely no issues streaming on 3g,4g or wifi. Sorry dude.

I'm currently on 3G and tried it on 4G as well. After uninstalling and reinstalling the YouTube app, I see that some videos on YouTube do appear in 3D. But one in particular that I used to be able to see in 3D, no longer is. And according to the comments, others are still able to view it in 3D. I tried to toggle HQ, it made no difference.

Tried Pandora on 4G as well, still does not work. It loads to 2% max, and then loads forever. I wonder if this issue is with my phone.
 
they still worked for me.my favorite one is the ocean circus


i just downloaded the tru3d 1080p version to watch on my tv since i cant stream it and i have to say i was impressed.i cant wait until i can find a cheap ps3 so i can watch some real 3d movies
 
Regarding Pandora: I found that others have had the same issue as me, with it working over wifi, but not over mobile networks. I'm not sure if it's the Sprint network + ICS + a particular Pandora version, or some combination of the three, but I downgraded back down to 1.5.6 and now it's working again. Just out of curiosity, for those who have no issues with Pandora, are you on an older version, or have you already upgraded to 1.6?


Regarding 3D videos on YouTube: Would someone mind checking out this particular video for me, and seeing if it works in 3D for them? Again, other videos on YouTube seem to be working for me, but this particular one, for example, used to, but does not any longer. If you search through the YouTube app for "3D" (no quotes), it should be the first result, titled "3D Video extreme!!! (evo 3D Works)." User that uploaded it is 1tompo1.

not working for me either.its just in sbs mode

i checked on my tv and and it does work on that.i watched the ocean circus one earlier today(i watch it a lot) and it worked fine but after your last post i checked again and now it dont.im not sure what is going on unless we both have to poor connection speeds atm.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't work on wifi either, but I will check just in case when I get home. You said it does work on your TV; do both videos work on your TV, but not your phone?

the one in 1080p is working .it is a top to bottom one.just add www to this.if i paste it the whole vid will come up

yeah dont know why but im starting to think there is a problem with sbs right now since the top to bottom one works on the phone

If I look at the video on my computer, I can tell it's a 3D video. But on my phone it still does not work. So, I have no idea where to even begin thinking where the problem lies.

not sure whats going on.the 1080p ocean circus worked fine a few minutes ago but now it doesnt.i checked around 10 3d videos and only 3 worked.one was some home made one.the other 2 were the coke zero mentos one and the 3d girl one


youtube might just be having problems atm.i really doubt its the phone.

I use 1.5.4 and never have any issues. None of that crazy percentage buffering either.

Since 3D works for your own content on the phone, I don't think it's the phone either, but could be the network? Or maybe, like you said, YouTube. :confused:

I am near wifi again, so tried once I connected, and now it does work. As does the ocean video mentioned earlier in the thread. Weirdness. Must have something to do with the connection.

Today I uninstalled the older apk I'd downloaded and tried the 1.6 version from the market again just to see, and it works. So, I don't know what changed between then and now (maybe features on my account during troubleshooting?), but no more problems.

I was having this same issue a while back. I just make sure I use the preload option for my favorites to guarantee they work on 3G
