Youtube app problem

New to the forums but this is my problem.
Since youtube updated on my samsung s3 when watching full screen the bar to fast forward or rewind isn't here, is it completely gone when watching in full screen?

Welcome to the community mate. Ive read of people having the same problem but the drag-bar is there on my s3
maybe try reinstalling it?

well i can't fully un-install the youtube but i can un-install the update, youtube 5.0 is the problem for me no drag bar, downgrading to 4.2 it's there, if they can just get that drag bar to appear i'd be happy cause for me it doesn't show

Its a system app so cant be uninstalled without root access. You can uninstall the update and reinstall but that might not help

Been a few days since i've been on here but when i would un-install the update it would update youtube automatically, i did that about 3 times and the drag bar appeared, i didn't bother reading the "whats new" in the youtube update so if they didn't fix the problem themselves un-installing and re-installing 3 times fixed it for me. it was un-rooted by the way

I just updated the Youtube app a few days ago and I noticed in the 'what's new' section one of the things it mentioned was a fix for the missing progress bar.
