Help YouTube HQ issue

I clicked the check mark for my phone to play high quality over mobile network. I'm on 4G, when I load a YouTube video it plows low rss and I click the HQ that pops up in the video, it stops, buffers, and plays the low res still. How do I fix this?

have you checked the settings for the youtube app? I had the same issue this morning and as soon as I clicked the box in "General Settings" it seemed to fix everything. Hopefully that helps.

I did that it has a green light under HQ when I touch the screen, but it's not HQ. The first video I played was in HQ but the rest weren't and when I tested the first video again that was HQ it wasn't HQ anymore but still had the green light .

Sorry didn't mean to repeat. I killed YouTube after unchecking the high quality over mobile checkbox, then reopened it and checked it off again, when a video played that wasn't HQ I touched the HQ icon while the video was playing, and if it wasn't HQ then, I knew the video wasn't uploaded in a high res.
