Help Youtube issues

For some reason my YouTube keeps stopping while I'm watching something! Netflix plays fine though. I have uninstalled all the updates, cleared the cache and even forced stopped it. Nothing works. Any ideas?

Are you having the problem with WiFi and mobile data or just WiFi and are they hd videos? Some people including myself have trouble with hd videos on YouTube over WiFi. Mobile data works fine and hd videos elsewhere work ok on Wi-Fi, it just seems to be a problem with hd YouTube and WiFi.

I'm on Wi-Fi pretty much all the time. How do I tell if they are hd?

Some will specifically say hd in the title, others will have a hq toggle at the bottom left.

Sorry thought you where on the app. If you press the cog in the navigation bar at the bottom it'll tell you what definition it's set to.
