youtube not working on GV 1.8

its saying com.google.android.youtube is missing

i've reflashed and its still not working

help?

Sure some others mentioned this in the xda thread. I remember telling them mine worked from data/app.

Not sure how they fixedly. Dalvik wipe maybe?

Use the "search this thread" function over there.

why not just get GV 2.0 and see if thats ok

How do you get to data\app?

Don't understand the question. /data/app is where apps you install are. Eg apps installed from the market.

I take many apps out of the Rom and install them via the market instead.

I'm not suggesting you do this. But I can confirm it worked that way.

That said, I'm sure the couple who had the issue fixed it, so have a look on xda
