The one you linked above the 5th GB... is the OTA radio.

The instructions posted above are for radio flashes not rom flashes, you will need to delete the radio zip from your SD to get into recovery.

Great...

I'll download the 5th GB radio and liquid gingerbread and get going...thanks...

Of course, I'll download a sense ROM first and get a lock...

That is the AOSP rom.

Ok....

So I've flashed liquid thundersense v1.8, I've restored my data with Titanium, and I'm trying to get a lock with GPS Status...

I guess I'm a little confused because I don't know how to operate the program correctly...

I've opened the program and have had it running for over 10 minutes, and all of the numbers on the Error (m), Fix, and Satellite sections continually change. Nothing is "locking."

Do you have any advice on what I can do to get a lock?

Ok...so what do they mean by lock? Is that the same as fix?
The numbers continually change, but I get a fix on as many as 9 sats with as low as a 3m range of error. But the numbers keep moving up and down.

I ran GPS Fix, and it said that my location is fixed.

Am I locked or not?

Yes that should be it, sorry for using the wrong terms

Okay...now I have a problem...

I followed the instructions after locking GPS...I wiped cache and dalvik cache and flashed the new ROM...the Liquid Smooth ROMs 3.2 for TB...and now I'm stuck on the white HTC screen...

Please help!

It shouldn't mess it up. If it does then make a backup of the AOSP rom before you try again so you can just restore your backup.

you will need to wipe /data and /system

/system is under the advanced menu IIRC in CWM it is under mounts and storage.

I may have found the problem...

According to the link that you provided above, the MD5 checksum should be d9cf808d7b91d44534b5442f389c3a5e.

I ran Android File Verifier, and it reports the checksum on my phone as 01486e7794892eeb45cf5ececa75cd71.

Is this what caused the problem?

What caused it?

Does that mean the link on the site is bad?

The file most likely corrupted in the download. Yeah that would cause a problem. I would suggest always checking the MD5sum before flashing.

Yeahha,

This is maddening...

It's still hanging-up on the HTC screen...

I wiped both /data and /system. I wiped cache partition. I wiped dalvik cache.

I re-downloaded the ROM before rebooting and checked the checksum, and it's correct.

But I can't load the ROM.

Liquid Thundersense will load just fine, but the AOSP you referenced above will not.
Any suggestions?

I'm scratching my head...I think liquid linked all his roms there not just the tb roms make sure you have the one for the bolt.

If you do try CM7 or something

I just read comments on his page that the TB links don't work.

Should I download and try the 3.1 version? Does it still work now that 3.2 is out?

So now I am completely stumped...

I deleted 3.2 and downloaded 3.1...

It still won[t download...I hang-up on the white HTC screen again...

Thundersense will load, but Liquid AOSP won't...

I restored my CM7 (and GPS now works!!), but I'd like to try-out Liquid AOSP, too...

What is going on?

I don't know it seems like if you have CM7 working you should be able to flash over to liquid without issues.

Hmmm...could there be a file on my computer that's causing a conflict?

I have files for CM7, Thundersense, and 3.1 all save under /sdcard/clockworkmod/downloads...

No that shouldn't cause issues

So is there anything else that I should do or look for?

Could I have a corrupted version of clockworkmod or recovery? If so, how would I delete and download a new version?

I mean, something screwy is going on if I can only backup and restore but not flash any ROMs...

Try updating your recovery. That is the only thing I can think of that could cause problems at this point.

You can download an updated version from the hboot/recoveries/radios thread that is linked in the sticky or download rom manager and allow it to update your recovery. If you do this be sure to backup before trying to flash again because updates can make your current backups unuseable ;)
