Root z4 not working? Not sure worked before.

Ok So basically im trying to copy some files into the system config dir. I had root working before. worked very well first time i ran z4, got rid of all the bloatware bs. now however i try and temp root, it say its rooted, in like 5 seconds, when it took about 30 when it worked before, it finishes very quickly, i try to open fileexporer and it has not r/w option, its r/o and cant change it, tiatinium is the same, says no root access. Clear z4 cache, verify USB debugging is on, reboot. try again, same thing.

I just tried perm root and it rebooted my phone with no prompts or warning....oh wait. heh im typing this as im trying things, it appears perm root has succeeded. w00t. ok now to copy one simple sound file and unroot the phone....unless leaving it rooted is fine then i'll just leave well enough alone.

yeah the same thing happened to me when i was just temp rooting and permanent root fixed the issue. . you might as well leave it rooted, it wont hurt anything and saves you alot of time when you need it rooted in the future
