Root Z4 root problem

does anyone know how to root a HTC thunderbolt? my bother wants to root so he can tether.

G+ app does not work on my phone any more, when i rooted the first time it worked but now i cant even see it in my apps, any ideas?

They say it isnt compatible anymore. But obviously it is because Ive been using it for a week.

Hello everyone I'm new to this forum. i tried rooting my ascend with Z4root and followed all the steps and guidelines. i ran the application on my phone and let it do its thing, the phone restarted on its own but it did NOT root. i tried this several times and still wouldn't work. after so much trial and error i tried GingerBreak. I must say Gingerbreak worked perfect, like a charm. so if anyone is having issues with Z4root on the ascend, give Gingerbreak a shot and you wont be disappointed.

Good job figuring out the solution to your problem... But this is pretty much common knowledge around here: Z4Root will root 2.1, Gingerbreak for 2.2 and above.
