If you have android version 2.2 you found it, If you have version 2.2.1 there isn't one.

you said that z4root doesnt work on 2.2.1, but i was able to successfully root my Huawei Ascend TapouT with z4root and it's running 2.2.1.
would the model of phone make a difference?
