Root Z4root Problems

I'm sure this has been asked in multiple ways, but I can't really find a definate answer....

How long do you guys think I should let z4 hang for until I should just give up and move on to another route to root.

I've tried redownloading, reinstalling, and rebooting..... It just won't stop hanging for 5+ minutes.

Did it take this long for any of you guys?

The last time I rooted my phone (2 days ago) via Z4Root it took probably about 10 minutes. To tell if it's working when you press home from within the app your phone should be super laggy and pretty unresponsive. After about 10 minutes my phone rebooted. I thought the same thing, some phones take it faster than others. Mine is on the lengthy side for root access. Hope that helps

Reboot your phone and try running Z4 as soon as you can, while the sd card notices are still coming up.

I actually just decided to give the manual route a try and it worked.

I've noticed my camera no longer focuses and tethering doesn't seem to stop even after force closing the app. My ipad can still connect even after the tething app is closed out!
