Root Z4root vs. OCLF

Is one of these methods better option to root with? I have a Captivate running 2.1. I've used the OCLF before, but the phone is not rooted currently. Can I root with the Z4Root then apply lag fix through the OCLF app? Also, there are two option to root with Z4Root: Temporary root and Permanent root. Is there any option to undo the permanent root?

Why wouldn't you just use OCLF to both root and install the lag fix? If you still have it, it still works, just use what you have.

The OCLF apk file I have doesn't have the root option. It opts me to download Z4Root from the market, which is no longer there, but I do still have it on my phone. But I've been hearing some mixed issues with it when trying to apply the lag fix after rooting with it the Z4Root. And since the z4root has a temp root and perm root option I have no clue which one to use (or which I one I should use).
