Root Z4root

Newbie
I have a droid x and am looking for another phone because I've lost root because of the gingerbread update. I'm not into rooting the old fashion way. I'm going to have to use either z4root, superoneclick, or some other 1 click root form. Can anyone tell me if either 1 click will work on the incredible 2? after all, they are still being sold with froyo if I'm not mistaken.

Root is not out yet for this phone, but will be out "soon". However expect it to be done the old fashioned way and not with a one click method for at least a while. This is an "incredible" phone, but the rooting community is still brand new.

There is not a oneclick yet nor is there likely to be for most future phones I would suggest adjusting your comfort level with the "old school" ways as I think our return to them is permanent with the level of control cellcompanies are desiring to have and honestly the oldschool techniques teach the methods of fixing many problems that you will run into from time to time
