Do I leave debugging on like I did for Fresh based ROMs? For app2sd, does anyone know if ext 4 is usable? It wasn't on Fresh based ROMs.

You know what is awesome about this ROM? It is different. I like how it has stuff that Sprint based roms don't. It is like starting over......
Yeah, it's different, but in a good way. It's blazing fast and I am now a believer. I love the Rom Updater as well!
I tried 3 different roms yesterday (Fresh Toast 2.1, Fresh Hero 2.3, Honeybun) and really couldn't afford to take the hit from the deodexed ROMS. I don't like using Apps2SD, so I need the space.
ZenEXP is amazing. One of my favorite new benefits is how fast calling/answering is now. There is no lag anymore.

Did you ever find a fix for this?
I am also getting text messages announcing the arrival of voice mail...IF...I use the stock mesaging app. If I use Handcent, those annoying texts can be blacklisted...I think. I don't get alot of Voice messages. I had just decide to stay with the stock messaging app, when I figured this out.. so.. my preferene would be to find a fix so I can continue to use it. Any ideas anyone? This ROM is the best I have used.

I've been stuck on Fresh Roms because they are good and stable. This thing is excellent, so far. I had a force close with sense, when I updated the updater, but a reboot fixed that. And it is smoooth! I really am impressed.

So sense is force closing on me, and I thought the reboot helped, but it didn't. I am running LauncherPro, so it isn't really too big an issue, except that it drives me nuts when something doesn't work..... Anybody have suggestions? As always, TIA.

You can log onto your Sprint account from your computer) and blacklist the text messenger.
I agree that this is one nice ROM. However, it won't autosync Gmail and that's deal-breaker for me.

Reading the thread on XDA says that this is a known bug... but when I just used VVM and not google voice I don't recall this happening. Maybe I just hadn't gotten a VM during that time.
Did this also do it before when before you upgraded Zen or was Handcent just blocking them?
What version are you running? Try turning down your OC so it doesn't run so hight and see if that keeps sense up and running.

And, I am going to go ahead and not turn down the overclocking, because IT IS FREAKING AWESOME! So sense is just going to have to deal with not working for the time being. I don't really care about sense, I just am a little bit anal about things working like they should.
You could also get Handcent SMS and blacklist 9012, that's what I did. I called *2 and they were no help what soever, so after an hour and a half I decided to just blacklist that number in Handcent. It's an unfortunate byproduct of this amazing rom.
Have you tried the .3 update from the ZenUpdater? I don't use gmail for email, but I have noticed that my gmail contacts auto sync. Not sure if it's because I updated to .3 or not.

ROFL!!!! Some people have problems with the phone handling OC turned up all the way and some don't. It may be what you need to do to get it to work the way that is should.

Yeah, i read that about o'c, but I didn't turn it all the way up. I have it set at 710, and it seems to be working really well.
I hope the rumors of a froyo rom from the zenulator are true because that would make me super duper happy....

Lol, mine runs fine at 710 but I know that JB had to keep his at 672 (IIRC). Glad to see you are loving the ROM though!

Thanks, I did run .3. Contacts auto-sync, but the email does not. Apparently, the Zen manipulations used to enable friendstream killed Gmail. I wonder how many users would gladly opt for push Gmail rather than friendstream.

EDIT: This doesn't seem to be working, I blocked 9016 on the Sprint site, and I still get texts from 9016. I wonder how long it takes for the website to actually block these texts?
I only had Zen installed briefly a couple of days ago, and I didn't test the voice mail glitch after blocking 9016. I'll reinstall Zen later today and see if the "fix" worked for me or not.
I found the same problem with Sense. Only way I could figure out how to get out of the constant force closings was to reflash the ROM. Did that and just stayed away from Sense.LauncherPro Beta version0.2.0

I'm OC'ed at max right now. I don't want to turn it down and try Sense just to find out that didn't work, I'm stuck on force closing over and over, and I have to reflash the ROM again.

I found I could reboot it, and that worked, just picked LauncherPro when the popup opened to load the home screen. It is easier than reflashing.
It still got stuck in force closing over and over even after I rebooted. Probably because I had chosen Sense as my default, so I had to reflash.
How can I update my PRL? Reception is really poor after flashing this ROM, but otherwise I really like it. I could try a different antenna, but it would be better to update PRL but I don't see how to do that with this ROM. I have antenna 2.42.01.04.27 now.
Also, any way to change the wallpaper for home and the lockscreen? When I restored apps and compatible data with Titanium Backup it replaced the ROM's home screen wallpaper with what I had on Fresh Toast 2,1, which was great, but the lockscreen is the Zen ROM ugly multi-coclor stuff. Would be nice to know how to change the home screen wallpaper sometime too. I use photos on my SD card for wallpapers.

Go into the app drawer, and go to my modes. in there is an option to change wallpapers.
As far as the prl, I'm sure there is an adb command to push an update to it, but I don't know it or where to get the download for the update.
