Anybody? I just want to make sure I understand everything correctly before I jump in
 
OK so I flashed it and so far I like it only been half a day though.

Few questions though, I can't seem to link my contacts to my facebook friends, anybody else have this issue? Also, I notice when the phone is waking up it takes a few seconds for the lock screen to be responsive, usually two swipes, is this due to the OC settings getting ramped up?

Right now I'm trying to get the whole VVM situation worked out
 
Yes, I believe it's due to OC settings... but that seems to bug a lot of people.

Don't use facebook... so no idea.

Where are you at with VVM?

funny you should ask that, I'm looking for the link for the VVM fix, it's broken over at XDA, any ideas?

EDIT: Oh, and one more thing, after flashing this afternoon I tried to dial ##DATA#, to make sure my slot index cycle was still at 0 and ##3282# does absolutely nothing, anybody else noticed this issue?

and how do I remove or install stock apps with this rom? I'm a NASCAR fan and would love to use the sprint nascar app, and I don't twat or twit or tweet or whatever the hell it is so I wouldn't mind getting rid of every app that has to do with that.
 
Zen updater for VVM.

easiest way to remove apps is through Root Explorer... Can install apks the same way.

I've run zen updater several times and the VVm never shows up, it says no updates available

is root explorer an app I can find in the marketplace?
 
Check the other tabs. IIRC it's on the last tab.

Yeap, and it works wonders!!! You could probably do it with one of the other FREE file managers too.

excellent, I got VVM working, and blacklisted the stupid messages from 9016, It doesn't play my notification sound but it will show the popup in the notification bar until I go in and clear the thread, trying to decide if I actually want to deal with that or not

so far, I'm a fan of zen, although I haven't even had it for 24 hours yet, only quirk that bugs me so far is the extra second it takes for the lock screen to be responsive, but I can get over that, considering how fast everything else is

OH, and does ##3282# work for anybody else running this rom? Cause, it doesn't for me.
 
anyone have an issue with the cpu governor getting stuck in performance mode while using this rom? I really love zenexp but when I look at either system panel or os monitor they show the cpu stuck at 671mhz no matter what and I'm not willing to put that stress on it constantly for no reason. I've tried using setcpu nd overclock widget to get it to scale on-demand and neither helped.
 
Well I would pull up os monitor and it would be stuck at like 671 mhz in performance mode instead of on-demand. This is the only reason that im not running this rom.
