Root Zmax recent update zip

apparently to prevent an update from continuously taking up 200 megabytes of your disk space create a zip called Update.zip and leave it in your cache folder...for me anyway it seems to be preventing the system update from continuously re downloading after I deleted it.
Where would I find this software update?

It will be in the root directory of your phones memory in the cache folder
It appears that it hasn't downloaded into that folder, even though the notification says different.
If I created a zip file and placed it there, would it at least prevent the notification from popping up?

I think you go into settings then applications and select the Google Play Services app and the box that says show notifications click to uncheck it that should do it.

That's What I did and.it hasn't re downloaded so far.. befor it was hogging bandwidth every time I deleted it to re download... you can turn off the notification by going into Google Play services and deselecting show notifications

If you are referring to the update.zip posted in the OP, it is for MetroPCS. Don't flash it unless you enjoy bricking phones.

ok, thanks, I was actually looking for update zip to b22 t-mobile, but your answer in the other thread helped me to resolve the issue.
