Accessories ZooGue Case

Just unboxed mine. Poor fit and bad quality.

Corners not so form fitting, so power button get recessed by like 1/2" and is difficult to access. Velcro on top closure also came unstitched and unglued after one use.

Going to return the case and go back to my silicone skin.

Rats, and that's not good news to hear. Mine should be here in the next couple of days. I'll let you know if I have a similar experience.

Well the case was in the mail after I got home.

I noticed that it was quite heavy on its own, and did add quite a bit of thickness (1.25 inches at thickest point).

The Xoom fits nicely and the quality seem great. All the Velcro is attached firmly. There is no buckling anywhere. I did notice that the power button is recessed quite a bit. If they put the opening on the other side, it would hold hold bit tighter.

I appreciate the features that it adjusts to any angle and Velcros, so it's super secure. I also like the idea and imagine it will be useful.

Due to the weight, i don't think I will keep the xoom in the case on a regular basis (work and home), but if I'm out and about, I'll slide it in.

The other con is that the exposed Velcro strips quickly collect dust, small strings, and small debris.

Overall, it will do the job well, and I like it more than other options out there.

I read your review when you posted it and thought I would pay attention to my ZooGue to see if I felt any of this over time. I don't have these issues/concerns.

For the weight - yes, it adds some weight and a little thickness, but not much really to me. I guess I can't imagine it being thinner and still being a protective cover.

And to the dust - I just don't see this. And believe me, dust cloths and I do not get along well so I have ample dust just laying around for the grabbing.

Sorry your cover did not work out. Maybe it was a fluke unit or something?

Actually, since posting that, I haven't taken it out of the case once. I got used to the weight quickly, and I agree that the Velcro strips don't collect debris at all.

I think the case is great. The design makes it comfortable to use on my lap, reclining, or at a table-that offsets the weight issue.

Sorry for not following up on this sooner. I really like the case a lot and would recommend it.

I signed up just to thank Nateo for the post, at first I was just taking a look but then decided to buy it and man I am glad I did because I can set it at any angle and its really stable... well worth the money thanks
