Help zoom select

[thequeenscheese]

when i press certain links or drop downs. they will first zoom in to make selection easier, i think this is a good thing but it appears to be random when it happens and cross browser, anyone know what triggers this or why its quite so random at doing it?

I think it depends on what browser you are using.

not for me it acts the same whichever i use, dolphin, chrome, opera all at random and not twice in a row..

For me the zoom kick in when I do not hit my target line or link squarely with the tip of my finger. All three browsers(std., Boat and chrome) does this

maybe thats it then, great concept but a bit floored at the minute then, for me id like to see it as more of a perminent feature that did it every time on devices like these or in pull downs etc..
