Might be good to also provide a separate link to AWEstruck post 3 for the compilation guide. I received feedback that it wasn't noticed.

IF the mods don't see it and update it i would recommend the private chat section as that's how i got a hold of them to update this.

You can report (

Not trying to argue here, just want to note that the report screen shows this:

"Note: This is NOT to be used for tipping helpful posts that you want staff to see, use the "Send News Tip" link in the header for that. Reported posts are used to report spam, problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts, and request thread modifications (moves, title changes, etc).

Anyone in the Guides usergroup is able to change thread and social group titles, edit polls, and move threads upon the request of the owner. You can PM them for these needs if you wish."

That's where I was confused myself. Though it does state thread modification. I would have a different system to link helpful posts instead of making one button for a variety of things which to me by the look of the icon I would assume it means to report bad behavior.

I don't like arguing myself, but you started it. J/K :p

Wow, people actually read that. Next your going to tell me people read the rules.

That definitely falls under thread modification. That language, though a bit dated, has a purpose. A large number of application developers use the report button (and the since retired tip this button) to beg us to have Phandroid review their next generation flashlight app.

It is more than appropriate for the purpose of updating an ATR sticky or other organizational attention a thread may need.
