Root ZTE Max Stock B06 4.4.2 Deodexed, Custom, and Unmodified

Give this one a try.

Features:
OC kernel
sdcard fix
Xposed Framework
GravityBox
Host file tweaks

Download:
stormer_stock_B06_custom.zip

How to use Xposed Framework:
Once the ROM is running on your device, go to your app drawer and select Xposed Installer. Click Framework, then Install/Update and give it root permission. Hit cancel when it asks you to reboot, then go back and click on Modules. Check the box next to GravityBox and reboot. Now you can open GravityBox from the app drawer and start playing around with stuff.

Downloading now thanks again

I noticed after browsing in system folder, we have multiple modems on this phone. How do we choose a different one. I moved to north Carolina and signal for lte is horrible?

There are not multiple modems, just multiple files for the single modem.

You could try the one from 4.1.2. There is a flashable of all 4.1.2 partitions in the OP at the bottom. You would need to modify the zip to only flash the modem.

Any luck with this rom? I'm using the debloated with OC kernal and am very happy with it. I considered it the "final" rom for this phone but if I can add xposed framework I'd be willing to upgrade.

Have you run into any problems so far?

No problems so far except I can't use nandroid manager to reinstall my apps I'm loving the smoothness of this fone right now

1. Could you use Nandroid Manager to restore your apps on the deodexed stock rom and is this new behavior on this custom rom?

2. Is Xposed working properly on this custom rom?

2. Well groove box is working for me so I suppose Xposed is fine

Xposed is working great and yes I could restore. My apps on deodexed 4.4.2 but I was coming from stock 4.4.2

Dumb question but here it is. I bought this phone recently from ebay used with 4.4.2 already on it. Do I have to root it first before installing modified rom here because i don't know if it's stock or updated kitkat? You guys are doing a great job and any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

You will need a custom recovery to install roms. There is a link in the OP to PhilZ recovery. That thread has instructions on how to install it. Once installed you can boot to recovery to install roms.

Hey SuperR. What is the host file tweak you have mentioned in the custom bo6 rom. I already have the debloated rom with sdfix, xposed and oc kernel sitting at 1.56 overclocked performance gov when screen is on, which i love :) But what is the "host file tweak

Guess you will have to try it to find out ;)

LOL, ok gonna give it a try. So you recommend wipe data/factory reset instead of clean to install new rom or it doesn't matter. And do I need the dolby error fix file with this. I never had a sound issue before

You should be able to do a dirty flash since you are running the debloated rom currently. I don't remember if I fixed the Dolby stuff in the custom rom and I am not at home to check.

when I went to flash phils recovery my phone went into a bootloop I can get about 20-30 seconds on the home screen to do a few things then it reboots I want to go back to stock recovery and do a factory reset but I don't know how when it reboots so much and I now have no recovery it just vibrates and does nothing when I attempt recovery

TrueHAVOC did you flash the right partition... Try going all stock.. 4.1.2. Then try to install philz.. I had success doing that. But now my text aren't being received. But once I reboot it does but I'm gonna try a wipe and reset. Or look for some partition. I'm updated to Kit Kat 4.4.2.

No after I pulled it out of the boot loop with the unbrick tool it booted straight into the custom recovery then I ran the custom stock rom the 4.4.2 with just a 4.4.2 gapps I found and it worked perfect she says she's not had a problem with it since then

Help please resize partitions memory, increase the "data" up to 4Gb, and reduce the section "(phone)internal SD" to 2Gb. Maybe is possible to patch file stormer_442_partitions.zіp?
