Out of curiosity, if one were to get the add on $5.00 warranty that BOOST offers with the ZTE Warp when purchased, does that cover a cracked screen?
My Warp arrived with a cracked screen and after phone calls to BOOST and ZTE, I was emailed a shipping label from ZTE and got new phone with no charge. Phone had a couple of other issues as well as the screen problem.
Just as an FYI with warranty stuff....
I worked for Samsung, and our warranty was good for a year. BUT!
We did not cover physical damage (dropping, kicking, stepping on, etc) liquid damage (do I need to elaborate...?) Or "Acts of Nature" (If you leave your device out where it rains/can be rained on, etc)
Also with retailers...if the manufacturer won't cover it (EG Samsung) odds are the retailer won't, either. Just be mindful of that. Before you buy a "SUPER WARRANTY OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!" from someone, ask the important question:
What does this cover? Will it cover physical/water damage?
Regards.
