Help ZTE Warp Locks Up Overnight

ZTEWARPSS

Newbie
So I barely activated my ZTE on the 8th of December, and was having nothing but trouble.. I did multiple Factory Resets and was still getting random reboots and constant lockups overnight... As many others have done, I went app happy, but all were from reputable sources, most with a rating of 1 Million downloads plus... this last time that I did a factory reset, I only installed 20 apps of the 30 I had previously, and again it locked up overnight, had to remove the battery in order for it to reboot... so I looked at my apps history and when I installed certain apps, and by process of elimination, I focused on two apps as being the culprits of my random lockups and reboots... USPS app and words with friends, I also suspected Facebook, so I left it off ... no reboots, and no lockups for close to 15 hours, so I installed Facebook again, but this time I disabled the sync feature and automatic updates... it's been 19 hours straight of no reboots or lockups... so I did some more research into the matter and found out that the green LED on the front flashes when you receive updates, and of course when my phone locks up, the green light is flashing, so now I am almost certain that my random lockups overnight are a direct result of automatic updates from Words With Friends, I haven't installed it yet, will wait a couple of days and then I'll install it normally leaving the automatic update notices enabled and see if it locks up again, then I'll know for sure.... just thought I'd share this with you... it was driving me freakin' NUTS!!!!!

Apps I have installed on my ZTE currently:

Adobe Flash
BofA
Barcode Scanner
Battery Solo Widget
ColorNote
eBay
Facebook
GasBuddy
Gmail
Hotmail
Maps
Market
Messenger for FB
MobileZone
Pandora
Paypal
PizzaHut
State Farm Pocket Agent
Red Box
UPS Mobile
USPS Mobile
YouTube

No issues as of now...

**UPDATE**

20+ hours of no problems, decided to install Words With Friends 1 hour ago, plugged it in to charge, and sure enough got a solid red light, phone locked up... 1 hour and few minutes after installing words with friends, ZTE Warp locked up... I already did the draining the battery fix until the phone shuts off on its own, even powered the phone back on with the drained battery and caused it to shut down...

BTW, automatic notifications were disabled..

Try using advanced task killer. Set it up to automatically kill every 30 minutes. It might kill whatever process is freezing up your phone.

Thanks for the advice, I had this program installed previously, but was of no avail... right now I am beginning to think it's my wifi switching off when the screen turns off, I am going to just run on 3G for the next few days and go through a trial and error, could still be an app, but I am beginning to doubt it now..

Just trying to help here is all
I just bought the warp zte n860 and wow at first I thought it was a great phone but then bam bam bam almost gave up on it.
I would be playing a simple game and it just freeze up in the middle of the game, well for that matter it seem like if i ran anything dangon thing it would just lock up or freeze or force shut down
i investigated it and someone here said its because it running to many apps at the same time.. i want to thank you good sir you are right way to many apps running
so I done some digging up and came accross this rom called DroidSmith by: Jim Smith.
man wow you can tell right off the gate it made a world of difference the processor speed is up higher than stock ver 1.24ghz opposed to 1.6 ghz and just a small group of apps that are needed by the system to make it run and is packed with some must needed features and now i play the crap out of almost anything and no more lock ups NONE!!!!!!!!!!!
