Root ZTE Warp Sync - All Things Root Guide

Ya damn I'm gonna root it asap no messin around. Ugghhhh I've never had to deal with all this update crap. when my ma got her Leon back when she had it it was just updated to 5.1.1 off the rip didn't have a cancel option or anything. so ya this is all a lil new to me & I just wanna do all this right so she doesn't slip the update in on me. uggghhhh!!!!

But is kk SD fix only for a kk ROM? I don't think you can use it on anything but kk, but I figured kk & above would be same deal but SD fix won't work on anything but kk for me at least any ROM I run after kk, LP etc. & the SD fix apk says I'm already able to do what this apk would have been able to help me with. another thing I could move apks to SD card on y last device running LP 5.1.1 but not on this warp sync running LP 5.1.1..... ya idk.
 
I'm new to this forum and I know this is a rooting guide, but I recently soft-bricked my warp sync because of a system upgrade. I tried flashing the custom rom but it says signature verification failed. I didn't have root or have unlocked bootloader before bricking and when I tried to get into FTM mode it's just a black screen. Is there any signed stock rom to try?

Well when using twrp u don't need any sign zips I would try to flash twrp again then a lp ROM if that don't work u need a new device sorry bro theres no tool fix for the sync u never update any device while using a custom recovery

Ok, so I tried one rom originally for ZTE ZMax, and it said failed to verify whole-file signature, is there anything I can do to fix that?
 
Can't seam to get B05 ROM to flash for me. I've redownloaded twice to no avail. And does anybody know what part/file I rename to get a nandroid to be recognized within TWRP? its like there's no backup at all in TWRP its just blank but shows up in file manager.
 
And I have been trying a lot of ROMs to see which is best on battery etc. So does anybody out there know if any other ROMs from the zmax besides Broken os work on the Warp Sync? Thanks in advance I'm just trying to find a nice ROM that has good battery life. I like Blisspop and how smooth it is and its dark themeing especially the dark theme option for the SMS! Love it. But battery life isn't all that on it. Its like all these ROMs have features I like a some I dont. So I'm just trying to find a happy medium. If anybody has ran any other ROMs from the zmax besides broken os please let me know which ROM/ROMs work and work with synthetic kernel or the nameless kernel thanks all!!!!

Is the battery life bad though? I didn't really give it much of a chance after I heard it wasn't so hot on battery. I guess there's supposedly a bit of battery drainage while she's suppose to be asleep. [emoji42]

I'll run the battery tests tonight but 1%-5% overnight is normal tho as long as ur not downloading/uploading files. Don't avoid any of phen's ROMs cuz someone else complains unless it's a complete deal breaker like no booting. Everyone has different uses, functions, and related drainage. Just check it out for a cpl days and see for yourself

The dev him self said the device wasn't fully sleeping causing some drain

Well right the percentage dropping a couple digits here and there while you and you're device is sleeping is pretty normal. I might just have to give er another go around. I definitely meant nothing negative in any way twords any of Phenoms ROMs by any means I actually liked/like BlissPops look best of all with its dark theming option. Always love a dark theme behind everything. Its just easyer to see. & I know it can't be a heck of alot but it helps save a lil juice as well. Looks nicer in my opinion and um ya, its safe to say I'm a sucker for & love & feel it would be sweet if dark theming was always an option on a custom ROM. All the way down to dark theming SMS apks. With dark theme actually working on SMS. I've ran a lot of ROMs that have the option to switch SMS apk to a dark theme but nothing changes after sliding the lever etc. [emoji54]

Loooooovin Gummy ROM yo!!!! Thanks PhenomX4!!!! I was getting a lil bored of LP to be honest. Lovin the custom kernel that comes with Gummy as well, does it have a name?
 
well ROM is way beautiful I love it to death but the battery just drains way to fast for me. & yes i keep sync off GPS off clock it way low n on powersave all that. I can't get much better life on any ROM though so it's not saying much. this is no knock twords the dev the guy really is a phenomena lol super dev from hell! but I just can't get good battery life to save my own life. idk just the way it is. love the phone love the ROMs and community but for me ONLY!!! this battery life is disscuraging to say the least.
