I'd advise you all to stop the bickering. I've kept up the forums from time to time, and seen that it get nothing done. After Messi posted his method, it was almost immediately that he started being attacked (even by the mods). He obviously doesn't want to work with people that seem to only want to antagonize him. You cannot blame him for not wanting to be cooperative. Also, fidounlocks is not trying to scam you either. He really did just want to test the method. Video should be done uploading soon. Reply if you want to see me in person too, if you want proof I'm not Messi.
 
I had to re-register here because I forgot my old password and email I used when I joined. I helped find a way to return the ATT G4 to stock 2/3 years ago over at xda....but I digress.

I now have a z982 blade zmax and found this thread in hopes of finding a way to root it.

I see a lot of claims and accusations, after reading both major z981 threads, without much substantiated evidence of either.

I know neither Messi nor sapphireEX, and by far I'm not taking sides. But I don't see Messi attacking anyone. If he's a fraud, he's a fraud. If it's a valid method that can use ransomware to root, so be it. But provide a disclaimer to run said related software in a sandbox. Pics or didn't happen. I'm sure you both know the rules of the interwebs.

Either way, save your keystrokes for something more useful than attacking someone. That's why these threads keep getting mod locked and have a disproportionate amount of insightful:smack talk posts.

Personally, being in Detroit, I'd be more inclined to offer the guy at MetroPCS $50 cash to root it (I'm sure he has the access to the necessary software). But that takes the fun out of it.

Mods...get in here and mod this BS please.

Oh **** off with the bullshit. You don't even exist online outside of AF, and have the audacity to advise people that have been here for years?

Go back to talking with yourself. It's seems its what you're best at.
 
I have provided pics, actually, the only person in which needed to see then (LV) the moderator has seen them. If you look at Sapphires tools he posted a few pages back or perhaps on one of these threads you'll see that we have jailed root on the z981, the z982 is not out concern as of right now. As we have 3 z981s to test with and 0 Z982s

I saw that in that thread. It showed potential. I was bummed you abandoned it. Jailed root is still fairly useless.
Concerning the 982, the community is assuming that the same method used on the 981 should work on 982 as well. Hence why I'm monitoring and following 981 threads. Once a free root method works, I'll gladly try it on my 982.

The z982 has an entire rebuild of Android from the ground up, Uni-android, if it actually works(we'll see) may be able to do it, any other from system root method probably will not.

Do you really still want to see my face? Greysworld did point out my hairy hands aren't the same as in Messi's original video. Also I'm still not sure what you guys are talking about. Is it an app?

If I'm correct, which is hard to do lately given two babies with the flu and whack work schedule, both bootloaders appear to be locked down in similar manners. But given the cost of a new 982, I'll try any free method found that works on the 981. $100 phone is a drop in the bucket for me.

God no...I don't want to see some other dudes face. I got no beef with you or anyone here. I was just anticipating being called Messi too.
