Root ZTE ZMAX TWRP NEW VERSION 2.8.6.0

If booting into recovery manually does not work then that means you don't have a working recovery. If you don't have a working recovery then trying to factory reset will brick your phone because you can't factory reset without a working recovery.
so were did the recovery go? please don't make me laugh.

I guess that make sense, i had know idea what was going on until i bricked, you are funny i need a laugh.

Let me get this straight here... I'm the one that has to explain to you that you can't do a factory reset without a recovery and you are trying to make fun of me? Is that what's going on here? Because it sure seems like it.

Question:

So, I'm running my rom and i want to make some system changes, so i go to twrp and flash the switcher. Will turning on the device and changing system stuff around be a waste of time, seeing as how it won't last through a reboot?

I was told that when changing boot animations using twrp there is no need to change permissions. So does twrp automatically fix the permissions when moving boot animations or any other files into the system folder?

I'm stuck help me

Install the apk file
Open the apk file
Click "Install Recovery (this flashes TWRP to your recovery partition, and this only needs to be done once)
Click Reboot recovery
Use TWRP to do many things

Download v2.8.6

Hi, I'm just learning how to root this phone. I had no issuing it on my girlfriends Zmax. It went fairly smooth in fact, temp rooted on my first try using king root. Then I downloaded and installed the link you provided for the twrp. Again smooth her phone is permanently rooted and kicking ass. So now I go to attempt to do the same for my phone. I get it temp rooted, but now every time I go to install this twrp apk I keep getting a Parse error!! Whatever the hell that is? I've tried everything and keep getting this error pop up saying Parse Error having trouble with parsing.. It's quite annoying and I have no clue as to why it's giving me this error over and over again? I found a twrp app on Google play but it's not the same my device isn't even compatible with it. AnywAy does anyone know why I keep getting this parse error? How can I fix it? I'd appreciate any feedback I can get!

Sometimes kingroot causes things to act up. You need to reboot your phone then install the twrp apk and try to root again after that.
