Root ZV9 Update Problem

Im on step 5 from here:

It didn't reboot, so I pulled the battery as instructed and then did hold home button, volume down button and power button till I saw the LG logo, let the buttons go and it booted into recovery. However, I see the default Android recovery. Is this normal??

I flashed Bobzhomes recovery with the FlashImageGUI (already had it and have used it several times), so I know that recovery was there.

This is what I get now on my PC command prompt also, which is a tad different than before:

F:\SDK\platform-tools>adb devices
List of devices attached
A0000028EE9E73 recovery

Am I OK, or did something get borked? I'm still sitting at the default Android recovery screen on my phone until I know how to proceed.

When you installed the update it will return your phone to 100% stock. You need to boot into stock recovery as step 5 is instructing and reflash update again to install radio as only stock recovery can do it.

you are fine, just continue the steps

You will need to use stage 2 to reroot and reinstall custom recovery
