are you just trying to get back to stock? if so make sure you have the exit recovery on the fona and a back up just in case,but i do believe if you go to lg.com and get the update for the lg esteem and do the recovery back up i believe its called its going to be in the upper right corner you should see the option and it will return to stock,or download ldriftas [ROM] Stock|Root|DeOdex|DeBloated ZVE and from there you should be able to get it bk to stock,but try the updater,let me know if you need a hand
 
Yes want to get back to stock, but I dont want to use ldriftas' rom. I was asking if anybody had a recovery back up.

Sorry, I'm on the road again....and i've forgotten how i did it....i tried several methods before success....

Try extracting it to a folder with same name as the file....(with universal extractor, 7zip, winrar, etc.) Then use lg tool pointing it to file location....e
If your current lg tool can't do it, look thru the guides here, there are several versions available on the web, besides the latest one on LG site.

WHen i get home ill check....sorry i can't be of further help right now...as well for the late reply.....
