I was wondering how to set it up when I put in another device such as my old moto edge plus?

It's a Moto G 5 g, I think from Cricket. It claims that wifi calling is available, but then it says try again later. The slider to on slides right back. What am I missing?

I replaced the default gallery with 'Fossify Gallery app' (current version 1.2.1)
I set the default gallery to 'Fossify Gallery' (Settings/Apps/Manage apps/(3 dots)/Other settings/Default apps/)
When I take a photo with the camera app and click on the thumbnail, I would expect it to open the photo in the gallery that is set as the default, but it does not! It tries to open the 'native' gallery app - the one that came with the phone pre-installed?! (It can not open it as I stripped the native app of all it's permissions)
I tried other Gallery apps and the result is the same, so the issue is not with 'Fossify Gallery'
Strangely I can open the Camera app from within the 'Fossify Gallery'??! but not the other way around!?
I haven't tried to install other 'Camera apps' as the native one takes decent photos and I'm not sure that other camera apps would be able to utilize all the 'Hardware'

It looks like it. Good thing too, that thing they tried was a mess! The size and position was always changing, and you sometimes couldn't even see it because it camouflaged itself when there were similar colors on the main screen behind it!

College basketball is upon us. I'll be rooting for my local U Wichita State University that competes in the American Atlantic Conference and Kansas University that plays in the Big 12. Both conferences have added and lost teams with the now popular conference hopping that's prevalent. New blood and lost rivals makes it difficult to guess how teams will do. Not that I was every any good at predicting the sport.

I recently upgraded to Windows 11 Home and have a notice from security that 2 old drivers are interfering with implementing full memory virtual security.

In the past (windows 7) I had a Brother psc machine. When I moved up to Win 10 it was not compatible so I got a Cannon.

I have removed the software from the Brother but these are still hiding somewhere :

so i was talking to my friend about torrents and he mentioned that back in the day he had a bunch of torrents on the tv series Lost. i almost forgot about that show. i remember when it came out, it was all the buzz right up to the shows finale(which i actually liked, but most people did not). it ruled TV in those days. i forgot just how insanely popular it was.

....then i just saw that there is a documentary that was made from an independent film maker with no release date. its called Getting Lost.

it looks really good. i hope it becomes available to watch.

....and then i saw that Netflix has it.....so....now i am watching all over again. i really think that it still holds up 20 years later.

Between marketing calls and fraudulent calls… I'd like the phone to only 1) ring if it's from someone in my phonebook, and 2) notify if the caller left a voice message. Otherwise, it should remain silent.

Is there a free/one-time fee application that does this?

Perhaps that explains some behavioral issues. It's next to impossible adding an item to an existing home page folder. I temporarily disabled the app to see if I could add to the folder, and then re-enable it, but when I did, the Item I added was not there.

I was wondering if there might be an app setting that, if altered, would render the folders more easily accessible, and also make home page buttons less sensitive/jumpy when trying to reposition them.

If not, what launcher would serve as a replacement?

My wife has a Samsung A53. There were issues with backups and resets that I had mentioned in another thread I think that issue has been fixed. I also made a thread about wifi issues that I though were fixed but turns out weren't. Her phone is baffling to me. The wifi issue is back and I have no idea why this is happening. Here goes.

This is now happening frequently. The wifi can be working normal. Then she can be online doing something and all of a sudden wifi goes out, out of the blue. Then in the wifi setting it shows the wifi still turned on but the network is gone and it shows that it's scanning for wifi connections and the home wifi isn't list as available. Then like the next day it shows back up again. My son is using his computer and tablet and I can be using my phone and him and I have no disruptions. Wifi works fine.

Is this a Samsung issue. Is there a problem with an app that's doing this, maybe a Samsung utility that's installed? Or maybe an Android issue. I tried to reset the wifi settings and that did nothing.

She was paying her phone off through a loan with smartpay offered through total by verizon. She didn't start having this issue until the phone was paid off last week or so.

Hello, techies. Just over two years ago, I bought a brand-new Motorola Moto g22 smartphone, and it has been (and still is) very satisfactory for my simple needs. (It was not an up-to-date model, but at least, it was new.) Today, however, it did not charge up as I expected. It was necessary for me to push the cable in again and switch the charger on again. This worried me, and I started thinking of how long I might reasonably expect the battery to last. The phone is switched on all day (only daytime) and in the afternoons, I use the phone as a router, tethering my desktop Mac to it. The access to Internet is just about passable, but I don't use the Web much, so I am reasonably satisfied with it.

However, I am given to understand that to use my phone in this way (as a router) is very demanding on the battery, and I fear being caught out, one day, by a failed battery. Can anyone tell me how long a battery can be expected to provide reliable power for internet use?

It's already bad enough, Android 14. I don't want any more of their useless bloatware. I have shut off automatic downloads in dev ops. If I take it off wifi and regular, will it be safe?

I tried to help somebody with a cheap Cricket phone. I used shizuku and canta to get rid of some things. Now the apps don't show on the main screen, even after rebooting, and the junk that I deleted has returned. How do I fix this mess?
