This seems to be different from how it worked on my old Samsung S7 Edge. On that phone I just set Do Not Disturb manually and the phone did not ring if a call came in, but the settings description for the S7 specifically says that the phone will not ring while the settings description for the S10+ says no such thing.

If you don't like the GMail app (and I don't particularly like it either) just use a different one. There are a lot to choose from, and there's no need at all to use Google's app for GMail, or for anything. I keep it disabled on my phone.

I'm currently using Nine, which allows me to turn Conversation view on or off, shows me the recipient name in the Sent folder. I've previously used MailDroid, AquaMail and K9, all pretty configurable even if I can't remember exactly which options each has. Just try a few and see what you like (remembering that the views are only one element of an email app: I personally won't use one where the app company passes my mail through their servers, no matter what benefit they claim I derive from that).

As for hoping Google will listen to you, good luck with that - their attitude (not uncommon amongst tech companies) is "we know best", and you are supposed to fit into their mindset.

Unfortunately the symptoms are not specific enough to identify the cause. Going into recovery and clearing the cache might help. A factory reset is more likely to, but you lose any data that aren't backed up. But nobody can be sure: it might be that there's one specific thing you need to do to fix it, but we don't have enough information to work out what. Or it might be a hardware failure that's not worth the cost of repair. Just the fact that it's rebooting isn't enough to tell.

If there were any other problems before this please tell us, as that might give a clue.

What do you mean phone has stopped? So it does not work? Is it just on the lock screen? You might have to do a hard reset.

In that case you might want to check with your carrier to be sure the line is provisioned correctly and that the APN is configured appropriately.

I too used to face the same issue earlier while playing the game of PUBG then I lowered the graphics and FPS too. It works fine for me now. I won't say, its not like lagging at all but at-least the lag has decreased a lot from early time. Sometimes it's also due to the network connectivity or you can say slow network.

I would love to know if there's any other way to fix the lagging issue because this game is good but the lag issue gives a tough time.

yeah I know I can backup via google drive and I can back up from the folder location when I run the back via WhatsApp.

I want to remove the database, view on a PC. Hence why I want to find the location of the file. plus I want to know actually where my phone is storing media files especially as the folder does not exist.

so for any custom rom you have, if you are having issues, you will need to state what rom you are on. each custom rom is different and thus each issue is different. i doubt that this is just an android 6 (marshmallow) issue.

Only way I can see is to play videos in an appropriately sized window, that avoids the damaged area of the screen. Videos on a laptop either play full-screen or windowed, that's it.

No access to desktop machine. Need to do this 100pct thru android.

I have been looking for strategy-by-turns games for my mobile phone and I have found Age of Strategy a game that can seem simple at first but that has more than you think under the features it presents.

I would definitely recommend you give it a try. It includes both a multiplayer and campaign mode apart from games against the IA.

Just to add to that:

If you're having issues with WiFi signal strength, the internal WiFi antenna in your device is a fixed component. It will be easier to address this on the router's end. Get a better router that's more capable of providing a wider ranger of WiFi coverage, or add in an extender (note most do involve a drop in bandwidth), or for the best, most consistent online connection, use an Ethernet cable between your router and your set top unit.

Isn't it fun converting people? I've lost track of how many I've convinced to ditch window$ in favor of Kubuntu Linux.

My all-time favorite convertee was my mom. I've written much about that, so I'll leave it at this: she loved it--but couldn't get used to its speed and its lack of needing to reboot constantly.

I do still have Win10 Pro dual booting with Mint19.1, as does my wife. But I can't remember the last time I actually wanted to use Windows.

Video must have not uploaded, 2nd time didn't work either, but I've tried different cables and different USB ports. Even a different pc. And the cable seems fine in my phone, I even tried to clean out the charging port...
