More than likely it's a paperweight at this point, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. I have an Acer A200 tablet that I received as a gift maybe like 10 years ago give or take. Well, I figure I stopped using it maybe around 2014? It has not been touched since. My mom recently found it and brought it to my house, so my first reaction was to try and log into it. Here is where the problems begin...I had one of those line draw passwords. I locked it up real fast trying to figure it out. So, then it gave me the option to log in via google account, which again I can't do. I've tried every password I can think of...my new one, passwords I consistently used back then, nothing works. And I can't connect it to Wi-Fi of course, so either it's blocking me from using it entirely or I simply cannot guess the right password from back then. Begrudgingly, I went to factory reset it. But it won't even allow me to do that. I get the right screen but as its loading it after starting up the android ups and dies (it shows an android laying down with a red caution triangle). I don't know what else to do. Ideally, I'd like to save the stuff on there because I know it'd be like a time capsule, but I'm also aware that that more than likely isn't going to happen. What are my options here? Can I reset it with my computer? I'm at a loss.

Hi all, if I'm watching a video on a web browser or app like twitter and put it in full screen after i return back to normal size my browser or app always goes to the top of the page which is really annoying of the video was half way down the page when I watched it, any help would be appreciated. lf off every 30 minutes whether I'm using it or not. I'm looking for one that won't turn itself off while I'm using it! Everyone I've tried turns itself off while I'm using it. It makes no sense. They say it's to save the battery, but I'm using it, do not shut it off!

3 yrs ago i wrote this code and i used to execute it easily on the android screen. Now I feel defeated since i cannot remember anything on how to run this SCRIPT using adb shell so that it creates a loop inside my Android Samsung's phone screen to make a certain loop. Can you please help this is the code

We are facing problem with connecting android devices to our VPN server.
Also iOS devices do not have any problems to connect.
Android devices trying to connect via StrongSwan official app from google play. And iOS from system settings.
VPN server based on StrongSwan+Charon
We tried to make a dump from vpn server and found the difference between successful and unsuccessful connections
- In success: server receives SPI key, and respond with Responder SPI key and connection successful
- In failure: server receives SPI key, but respond with empty Responder SPI key and connection failure with "INVALID_KE_PAYLOAD" error

My battery is failing and warranty has expired for long time so I can only have it replaced in an unofficial shop. Is it necessary to create a back up before letting them replace my battery? COULD it lose everything if they carelessly do something or hit on some parts during the replacement? I have no experience and knowledge about fixing a phone.

About a year ago I tried loading teatv on anbox (a linux based android emulator) and it failed totally I was told that anbox uses arm64 architecture and my computer was likely running 86-64 or amd64. From the write up on their site it looks like WayDroid supports at least 86-64 and possibly amd64.

Does anyone have any experience running teatv or even plutotv on WayDroid? Has anyone gotten it to work?

I'm currently running them in my windows box using blustacks, but I'd really like to use the linux box.

I have an Android 11 cell phone and a Dell Inspiron 3520 laptop computer..

For a few years, I would charge my cell phone, using a USB cable, on my laptop. But for some reason, my cell phone will not charge on my laptop anymore. I have tried using different laptop ports. But my phone still charges using a portable charger or a wall socket.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I have had WiFI calling turned on for several years (on my Samsung Galaxy S10e) using Verizon. Suddenly it stopped working. What happens is I try to make a call and nothing happens: no ringing, nothing. If I turn the WiFi calling off, then the calls work fine. My home WiFi is working at the same time. I tried clearing the cache of the phone app which didn't help. I have rebooted my phone after that.
Any ideas why this is happening?

I have with me a Samsung Galxy A8 (2018), my boss purchased this phone from a girl, but she dont know the google account e-mail and password or the screenlock to unlock the phone. I am tryng to unlock the phone using a hole of methods, i try to use a blocked SIM Card, i tried to connect on the pc but the phone doesnt reconized. Probaly the best method to unlock this phone is via entering on the Call settings, but when i click on 2 seconds and customize buttons to enter in call settings, appears a black screen and go back to the keyboard settings, is there something i can do to resolve this issue?

I have a sunnto core all black non smart, but it has a barometric sensor in it and at a sudden drop of 3 atm it triggers the storm/bad weather alert. I'm looking for something like this on the watch 5 pro because in 90% of cases, a sudden drop of 3 atm means that the weather is going bad.

so one of my co-workers, when they call me, it now says suspected spam. or when i call him, my contact has the right name, but on the dial up screen it says suspected spam. i do not see any way to get rid of this. it has become an issue when he calls me, as i do not pickup due it saying that the call is spam. texting is fine, but not calling.

any ideas? call my carrier?

Hi. I am currently running Android 10 on my Moto g power. I have had Android phones for about 10 yrs and never had this happen.

The last couple of days, out of the blue I am getting a notification that appears to be from Google. It simply says, "This app needs your permission". The first time it happened, I clicked to find out more. It just went away and nothing else came up. It's come up again and I am now suspicious of it. Is this normal? Should I be worried?
