I will try to keep questions to a minimum, but for now please can someone help, thanks.

I want to transfer selected images from my old tablet to the new A8 but ensure they go to a dedicated folder. I created a new Folder in Internal Storage/Pictures and put some photos there, thinking the folder would automatically show up in Images under My Files.

Fail! No such luck.

I haven't managed to move the new Folder and it's contents to Images. Is there a way to do this?

Failing this, how can I create a new Folder within the Images folder?

I am clearly not understanding the difference between My Files and Internal Storage. Thanks for any suggestions,

A. Can I use 5G SIM card in Samsung Galaxy Note8? Is it just insert 5G SIM card and it will work?

B. What data/apps/info/history will I lose when I switch from 4G (old card) to 5G (new card) SIM card?

C. What steps to do (backup) before my old SIM card deactivate so I will ensure I have all the same items when I use the new SIM card?

I will be receiving a new 5G SIM card and the 4G SIM card will be deactivated once the 5G SIM card activates.
I am currently using 4G SIM card in my Samsung Galaxy Note8.

Somebody I know has just been given a firestick that somebody else was not using. I tend to be the go to guy for this sort of thing. Of course the instructions are missing. The box includes just the stick with its end cap, connected in a nonusb way, I guess, the remote, and the HDMI cable. Supposedly it's all set up and ready to roll. What kind of USB cable does it take, regular or c type? Is a plasma TV HDTV? This Panasonic TH-42PZ85U, though made in February 2008, has a couple of HDMI slots.

i have a security system and 8 dvr cameras and 8 foscam ip cameras. and these all work on my nvr and there dvr. i have the tinycam app on my phone and can see the cameras good at home or away. but i also have a bunch of ip cameras the i can see only on my phone if i use there app and there default UN and PW plus the default ports.

what i need to find is a security program for my pc that will let me not only see these other cameras but also let me get into them and change the defaults setting to the settings i need to use.

i was able to do that with the foscam ip cameras but i used there program for that, but the foscam program will not see these other ip cameras.

so does anyone happen to know of a ip camera program that will see any ip camera and let you get into there settings to change the defaults to what i need?

Hi, I hope this is the correct forum for my new tablet - Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (SM-X200NZAEXSA)

I will probably be asking a few questions as I use the new tablet but can I start with a couple of elementary queries?

1. I dont like the Gmail app and would like to use the email app from my TabA. I am attaching a picture of the app I want to find, can anyone identify it please? I thought it was Samsung email but that is not the case.

2. A minor issue, but maybe someone can tell me if I can increase the size of the numeric keypad displayed when powering up the A8 tablet? The size is about half the size of that on the TabA which I find much easier.

This is my second try. I am being hacked really bad. Someone is remotely accessing my devices. Even my smart TV. They block phone call, texts and emails. Listen to phone calls and take my picture. I have factory reset many times but everything comes back at install_ even tho i use all new accounts. In have even bought new devices. Any device that comes in my house is somehow being sensed and immediately it is being accessed. I need help. I lost my job, I am losing my mind. They wontnstop. I went to the police and they said it has to be someone close to me. In have over 500 system apps on a new device all by android x and android developer

First off, I DON'T want to turn off Predictive Programming. I've tried that. I want to reset the words it already knows that I taught it in case I give it away to someone. Any ideas?

I have my work email on my Android using the Outlook App. We do not have Office 365, not sure if that matters. When I update my password for my domain account, I need to update it on my phone as well for my email. I open Outlook, click on the cogwheel, select my work email, but there is no option to update the password. I only have Reset Account and Delete Account as options. I know that I have been able to do it before, but it seems with this version of outlook that option was taken away.

I went into my phone settings>Accounts, and the outlook account is not even listed.

Has anyone else ran into this? I had to delete the account and then re add it.

So I dont have any need for accessibility and Im not a big fan that it has permissions for all my core functions. Is there any way to remove it entirely? An in-depth google search gave no answers and only showed how to stop talkback from turning on. Anyone know how to do this or if there is a way to install a more basic version of the OS? I have a Samsung A8 with 32GB of internal storage and 32GB of SD. I recently connected it to my PC through USB, and ran a PC disk space analyser on it. Everything on the SD card looks normal and understandable, but the internal storage is weird.

Okay, so the internal file system shows only the storage is only 24.1GB instead of 32GB, I guess that's typical for the games that storage manufacturers play with their sizing practices, I don't care about being shortchanged a little. But it shows that 22.8GB of the 24.1GB is used up. I then fired up the disk space analyser program, and it showed that I'm only using 231MB of space on the internal storage: 104.7 MB for Android, 94.5 for WhatsApp, and 19.0 for logs. The rest are just sub-megabyte numbers. So where is the rest of the system hiding? The remaining over 22GB of stuff?

I am waiting on a phone from T-Mobile that might take a month to receive. I want a cheap phone I can buy used that I could activate on T-Mobile now so that I will have a minimal level of cell service while waiting for the real phone. Can someone recommend models I can buy for under $50 used that will be rock solid on T-Mobile?
