Sliding the finger on space bar moves the cursor position. However, the space bar also opens language settings if the finger stays on it for slightly longer. This latter setting interferes with the former & makes it very difficult to move the cursor. It will be much more convenient if the change language function is removed from the space bar. We don't need to change the language of the key board so often anyway.
Is there a way this can be done at user level?

The front-facing camera on my Pixel 4a applies a noticeable smoothing effect in video. Even more obvious when the first few frames look normal before smoothing kicks in. Smoothing in PHOTOS can be disabled in the camera settings, but I haven't found a setting for video. Possible?

If I get it, I want to be able to degoogleize it as much as possible. I don't like them and I want to use the room for something better. Are there any suggestions? The main things I want to do, as I've mentioned, are download minimal ADB + fastboot to fix my phone (I hope), get Linux, although apparently attacks on it have been increasing, and finally be able to use Calibre.

So far Outlook app will view animated gifs in emails when clicked on the picture, it opens another program like gallery and it plays, how can I do that with gmail?
I see in outlook, I can use gallery or photos and it plays.

I went through all settings I can fine reading various websites.
I uninstalled Outlook, shut down phone restart and reinstall Outlook, no notifications ever.
All other apps have plenty of notifications, sound, popup etc...

I have a Hauppage video capture card in a Win7X64 box. This card works flawlessly with DirectTV after putting it through a simple splitter to decode the encrypted signal, DTV input, 2 outputs: TV + capture card. I've been trying to do the same by swapping the DTV input for my Firestick, which always shows up as "no signal" when the capture program is running. I've even replaced the splitter for one that's "been tested to work" since mine was > 8 years old. Nothing but a black screen and the no signal message. Is there something that needs to be done on the FS? Mine's a Gen II that's about 4 yrs old...

Owned phone since new thru T-mobile, wife forgot password, last resort factory reset, trying to deep scan data recover important images and txt not on old back up.
All available apps for phone or vie PC USB are not able to root and scan, including recuva, drFone, Kingroot and every popular app suggested.
Can anyone provide assistance to legit data recovery services out there or other?
Main issue seems to be baseband version fifth from last digit is 7 (has to be 5 or older from what I have read).

I had 3 related Google issues, now 2.
After 5 months my phone updated Play Services from 1 August to 1 January, along with a mild OS update and Security patch.

I have been having intermittent problems with many Google services saying Network not available (Maps, Weather, You Tube, Google Pay!, Manage Your Google account).
This can be accompanied by my Google Avatar changing from my P user name to my T real bame, or a blue head and torso drawing.

This is while everything else is running and I have speeds between 50 and 240 Mbps in the same spot.

Sometimes it will then connect to Google via wifi, not always. Rebooting doesn't work.

I know on the App Info screen for Google Play Services you can switch Mobile Data off, (confusing to know which way disables Mobile data) and I had that off for a while, troubleshooting, until I remembered, but no great difference.

Finally I thought the pushed OEM updates had cured it but only temporarily again.

I had cleared Cache before this, and later data - and now yesterday I uninstalled all updates in the hope it will recover itself. Its now on an old version. I left it on wifi only a few times. I don't regularly have wifi but can use another phone's sim or public wifi. Still no restored updates.

I have plenty of screenshots to show what I mean when I have time.

So - I can't access regular Google services on my Google account all the time, and can't get the Play Services app to restore, even though its up to date now on 1 January 2022.

Ideas?

(Xiaomi Poco F2 18 months old - I have another Xiaomi of the same age with no regular sim but on wifi in the evening and it updated much earlier to a higher OS version and had more regular updates, though it's technically inferior )

I went and bought this tablet today at Walmart and set it up. Everytime couple of mins sometimes seconds the wifi disconnects for a second and reconnects. I googled forever and tried to call customer support and nothing. So i figured my tablet was defective so I went and got a refund and picked up another and it does the exact same thing. Keep in mind the wifi is fine on all other devices. Anyone have any suggestions?

The google play store wanted to update an app called Podcast republic on my Samsung phone even though the version is exactly the same as the update version. This should not occur as this means either Google play store version 29.3.14-21 [0] [PR] 428061961 incorrectly see the app installed incorrectly or the version installed is an imposter. Google should provide a SHA256 hash so a user can verify the installation. The current version of Podcast republic on my samsung is 22.1.25R and the updgrade from the play store is the same.

A sha256 hash should be displayed for all apps and updates. See enclosed

This is about my Moto G Power, Android version 11.

When I call someone, *I* can hear them fine, but *they* complain that the sound cuts in and out. This cutting in and out doesn't happen all the time, but it has occurred with many different numbers and different people. And this has been happening for months.

I don't know where the microphone is on my phone, so I certainly can't solve this by inspecting that.

Anyway, is there a way to fix this problem? Also, are other Moto G Power phones like this, or did I just get a bad one?
