Help How to Restore Partition Table in Realme Devices

I got my all partitions (mmcblk0) deleted while trying to remove the USB drive partition... I was using a root application from the play store. Now I am unable to flash anything from recovery or fastboot. I have access to Recovery, Bootloader. My TWRP is unable to mount anything (system, boot, vendor, etc.)
I don't know how to recreate my partition table.

Battery charge level indicator (Pixel 4 XL).....?

A few days ago the percent charge showing stopped working on my pixel 4 XL stopped working. I checked my settings and the it displayed the "battery monitor" not working. Also tried depressing hard on the screen to see if this is if the battery might be swelled up. A reliable phone repair place told me that the problem is most likely due to a worn out battery. The battery is not discharging fast. Accubattery sas the battery is healthy. Is there there a hardware tool I can check to see if the battery is defective or not......?

i have a question about charge pass through

so i have a android 11 smartphone that's upgraded to Android 12. and i got a usb hub that allows charging and USB devices to work at the same time. but i have 1 issue with it. i have a smart plug attached to the usb hub, so i can leave it plugged in 24 7 and it won't be overcharging the phone, because i have a schedule set. but once it's turned off the usb hub has to be unplugged and then plugged back in, in order for it to start charging again. and i wanted everything to be automatic so i don't have to touch anything, no messing with the plugs or anything like that. and so i always forget to reattach the plug, so everytime i get ready to record reaction videos, i have to charge it from 0, it's also another annoyance because i use floating apps, and after a restart i have to re float all of the apps i use, and it's quite a few.

hey guys im looking for an affordable chrome book with decent processing speed for recording videos

also possibly live streaming YouTube videos with a camera and a microphone, it would need to have internal recording with external recording. which i think this might since it says it's android 11, unless its not actually android 11 os
but I've never used a chrome book, and i noticed that it says chrome book os or something. i would like someone to check the specs and see if this could handle running a screen recorder with mic and camera and play YouTube. also can you install any android apps, from apks or is it more of a closed platform

Help PLEEEEASE HELP! A51 5G not registering on Mint Mobile network

(my phone is A51 5G. I know this is A52 5G forum.)

Hi,
This is my first time posting on any forum - I'm that desperate for help. Thanks in advance.

I joined Mint and cannot get my A51 5G to register on their network and make/receive calls. I've spent several sessions and hours with their support which is useless. The sim activates, I see signal bars, but when I try to make a call FROM the phone, it says cannot connect.. When I try to call TO the phone it goes to vmail. I've tried the various APN settings support suggested and posted on the Internet. I also received a replacement sim but that did nothing, still have the same problem.

HERE"S WHERE IT GETS WEIRD. I have other phones with Mint. One of them is a Galaxy Note 8 which works fine on Mint. When I switch sims between the Note 8 and A51 5G, they BOTH WORK. I can call back and forth between them just fine. When I return the sims back to their original phones, the A51 5G problem comes back. So the A51 5G sim works in other phones and sims from other phones work in the A51 5G. But for some reason the sim that's supposed to work in the A51 5G doesn't.

The only possible thing I can think of is that the A51 5G was originally locked to ATT the first time I inserted and activated the first Mint sim. Maybe this created a bad relationship between the phone and the sim? But this theory hits a dead end because I subsequently unlocked the phone and then got a new sim and the same problem continued.

Does anyone have any ideas? Or maybe where I can even go for in-person help? Will T-mobile bother to help?

Thank you.

kyocera phone locked

hi and tia,

kyocera s4 android one, boots as far as the pattern security screen, accepts the pattern ok but cannot load to homescreen. Goes round and round for a while, sometimes comes back to pattern screen and sometimes switches off.

I tried holding vol and on/off switch and it goes into a kind of reset mode. but it says LOCKED in red letters.
It is my student’s phone, we are in Japan, the phone has a Japanese interface, but thats not a problem. She is a lady in her 60s she’s not phone savvy at all. She said she took it to the shop and they told her to buy a new one, which she did.

I am certain that she didn’t lock it herself, so the shop must have done it. They transferred her sim card and all her data onto the new phone. I don’t need anyone to tell me to do anything dodgy, we can go back to the shop and prove ownership if we need to.

My Questions -
was the phone repairable/recoverable, ?
can we unlock it, ?
can we do a factory reset, ?
should I bin it ?

thanks

Pete

Help Move apps to SD? Uninstall pre-installed apps?

I recently got a cheap phone (a stripped-down Aquos sense3 called an Aquos sense3 Basic, built for some cell providers here in Japan) - it only has 32GB internal storage, but it does have an SD slot. But I'm sure you would agree this situation is a bit ridiculous:
Screenshot_20220205-125511.png

It's almost all "Other apps" (12GB) and "System" (14GB). Obviously I can't move System, but I'd love to move apps - most of them I use extremely rarely, so I don't care if they're slow. I'd also love to uninstall pre-installed apps I will never use (most are small, but there are a lot of them), but that doesn't seem to be an option.

Everything I can find on the web about how to move apps to the SD card don't seem to be available on my device. Settings -> Storage -> Other Apps -> any-app displays a page that has no option to change where anything is stored - the only options are Clear Storage and Clear Cache. In fact, it doesn't even SAY that the app is on internal storage, as if nothing else exists. And inside the apps themselves, I was only able to switch the default data location in three apps. (The above screenshot was after doing that and cleaning temp files - it was worse beforehand.)

On my previous phone, I made the SD card a semi-extension of the internal storage (apparently called "adoptable storage") - yes, I'm well aware of the risks. But even that doesn't appear to be available on this phone. Settings -> Storage -> SD card (Files app opens) -> ... -> Storage Settings only offers Format, not "Format as Internal" which many articles on the web think I'll find there.

Any tips for how to improve my internal storage are appreciated.

It's said high voltage will stress battery and wear it out in the long run?

From a lot of Google search it's undeniable that it's not recommended to charge a phone fully, not even 90%, best between 25% to 75% at all times because high voltage will stress battery and ruin it in the long run.

I am wondering, what if someone who can strictly keep the habit of charging and discharging a phone ALWAYS between 25% and 75% which is the ideal practice, then what is the reason of his battery failing at last? I truly believe that his battery will finally fail one day

Is LG getting out of the mobile phone manufacturing business?

LG announced its departure from the mobile industry in early April, but it took some time to wind down operations. Today is the last day of production for LG phones and tablets, according to sources from Korea.

For the time being, the corporation will continue to support current devices. Premium models will receive three years of software support; for additional information, see the Android 11 upgrade timetable. Some products (such as the Q-series phones) will receive Android 12, while the most recent luxury variants are slated to receive Android 13. Users will be able to get after-sale support for four years from the device's manufacturing date.

What do you think about this?
