Age of Strategy is a turn-based strategy game for Android. It's a very good turn-based strategy game. The style and quality of units, buildings, and terrains are simple yet very detailed. The combat easy is easy but the strategy is up to you. It's easy to learn how to play but not so easy to succeed against an enemy. It requires time to be very good at it and have a strategic mind. You'll need those for winning skirmishes against AIs, Online Multiplayer against other players or in many many campaigns, missions and challenges that will challenge your skill. In terms of unit it has a lot of it. Samurais, Knights, Spartans, Caveman, Dessert dwellers and many more. Mounted, Siege, ranged, melee are some of the unit types. Though there is only one group/clan/tribe because you can use all type of units and buildings. You just need to unlock them using gems that you can get from completing campaigns. The gameplay is simple just as every turn-based strategy games but it's pretty neat. In matches your train units by waiting, units cost turns so you don't have to collect resources. That's pretty unique. In campaigns you need to do specific things and there is dialogues and stories. You can also build training buildings, technology buildings, and Defenses. The terrain also affects combat and some units has special skills unique to that unit. Overall, a good turn-based strategy game. Very challenging and well made. It has a lot of contents to go through. So why not try it. It's available in Google play store.

Use Google Assistant with AV Receiver Pioneer

Hello everybody!
See, I have a Pioneer vsx-831 Receiver with wifi and bluetooth and Chromecast built in.

My question: How can I use the Google Assistant voice commands to:
Open and run Deezer or Tidal in the "Pioneer Remote App"?
Since I can only open the app saying "Ok Google, open Pioneer", but I can not make it choose then "NET" and then "Dezeer" and play it.

I hope you can help me. Thanks!

Sony Xperia Compact Pixel ROM

Hi. I have set up ADB on my Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact by using Home-brew commands on my Mac's Terminal, Installed TWRP and unlocked the boot loader on the phone. I have Android file transfer installed, so I guess I am good to go with installing a custom ROM? (Never done this before). What would be the best source for a Google Pixel look? I have been to the Pixel Experience site and it has the XZ1 Compact listed as 'supported' but when I click on the link it says Pixel 10 has been 'Discontinued' for this phone. It shows Pixel 11 Beta underneath but when I click on that it just says 'No files uploaded. Please check back soon.' Can you suggest a site where I can get the Pixel look (with an OS is ideally updated for this phone)? Secondly, once I have found a ROM I am good to go with, do I need to install Magisk first? (Consfused on whether this needs to be rooted through Magisk or whether the install ROM will be part of the process in rooting)? I have Android File Transfer on my Mac now, so once I have downloaded the custom ROM, which file gets dragged to where on the Android File Transfer folders? Thanks in advance.

Speech to text on my S10 errors

I've been using Samsung Messages, and when I do speech to text, it keeps repeating pieces of text somehow. Here's an example:
"I'm testing this app to see if it does a better job of speech to it's the better job of speech to text. I have a feeling that it's probably have a feeling that it's probably going to make he same types of mistakes"

I switched from Samsung Messages, to Google messages, and same errors. I switched engines from the default Samsung one to the Google engine and same issue. I played around with all the speech to text settings, but no dice. Maybe I need to remove and reinstall the speech to text function somehow? I've rebooted and same thing. Thanks for the help b/c it's driving me insane.

Help No Radio after Rear Camera replacement

Hello,
I replaced the rear camera. Everything works fine...... Except the cell radio is inop and won't pick up a tower. SIM Status = Network: No network connection, Mobile Network State: Disconnected, Service State: Radio Off. IMS registration status: Off

I've been back in it to confirm connections several times. The WiFi radio works fine and allows me to connect.

I've had Samsung cells apart at least 10 times for screens and ports. Never saw this issue. I'm just trying to find out if I need another motherboard or if the firm/hardware is failing.

Any advice?
Thanks in advance,

Bluetooth problems??

Have my pixel 4a, obviously (why else post here right??) and I have two devices that just have serious issues with bluetooth. 3 actually now that I think about it.

Device 1 - Cardo q-solo motorcycle comms unit. I do believe its bluetooth 2.1. It connects, and played music the first time, and only the first time. After that it says it's connected.. but nothing comes out of the device.

Device 2 - 2010 ford sync stereo. Same thing. Probably the same bluetooth vintage, maybe even older spec.

Device 3 - Jvc KD-X240BT, This one behaves differently. It will receive calls just fine over the BT speakers. It connects consistently and lets me play music, use navigation, etc. It's very inconsistent with outgoing calls though.. many of them go to my handset speakers vs. my BT radio.

Any suggestions? The Cardo has been replaced with a newer unit already and its running BT 3.1 and works perfectly, so far.

Help Onn Problems Battery & Wireless Update

Hi, I have 2 problems I need help with:
1)
My onn 7inch tablet gets to about 75% battery and just turns off, goes black, no warning or anything and then once I attach the charger and power it on it reads 45% on the battery- Does anyone know what's causing the problem and a solution would be great.
Question 2
After my tablet has been sitting overnight when I pick it up it and before I unlock it It will show a black box in the upper left hand corner and it reads Wireless Update-It's up to date so I have no idea what it's in reference to, Hopefully someone can help me with both of those problems.
BTW-I've tried using ACCU battery but it says my tablets too old So it can't read it.. Also the battery or the tablet is not getting too hot.
I Would Really Appreciate Any and All Help.
Thank You

LG G5 Overheats ?

Does anyone know if the LG G5 overheats like the G4 did ?

I really liked my G4 tried to repair it and added two copper heat sinks and even heated mother board with a soldering iron but it still heats up.
Was thinking maybe getting a used G5 possibly but do not want to if it has same overheating issues as the G4 had.

Help MMS Messages are being converted to emails!

Okay, so here's the deal,

I just got out of the apple ecosystem after owning an iPhone 7 for almost five years. All of my family and friends use an iPhone (aside from my grandma, who is still using a flip phone and never owned a smart phone in her life :goofydroid:)

The problem is, I tried to do something as simple as sending my mother an image from google photos (using a link) and she didn't get the message. Later, she looked in her inbox and saw it. It was sent to her home email address from my AT&T MMS Mailbox (myphonenumber@mms.att.net)

Why is this happening?

modify existing apk for x86_64 support

Hello All,

Very new to Android Studio so go easy.
Situation: Setup a Chromebook with Android-x86 image to be used as a 'ground station' machine for drome flying,,,fpv,,telemtry,,etc.
Problem: This Chromebook is of course Intel based CPU and the proprietary app for this drone only provides arm libraries in the apk. Hence the app crashes almost immediatly when opned even with native bridge , houdini all that setup. tried several images as a matter of fact.
After many hours of doing Android Studio and finally setting up a virtual machine there the app will run correctly if i build a phone with ARM library as ABI.
Have searched high and low and cannot find a good how to on how to add the X86 & X86_libs to the existing apk and see if this lets the app work on the Intel processor based Chromebook.
Have gotten familar with the decompile process,,, apktool, dex2jar,etc, of the apk but simply dont see steps to add the libraries X86 & X86_64 then rebuild the apk with these libraries in Android Studio.
Can someone provide a tutorial link?

Thanks

Getting different logs when the same app has been run two times

Hi everyone,
I have a doubt w.r.t the log generation of an app (from logcat command-line tool).

Consider the following scenario: I have an apk that I ran two times (everytime, there is the fresh installation of the same apk) and have fetched the logs (from the logcat) for this app when the app has been run for the first 15 seconds (without any involvement of user activity).
I observed that logs generated for both the runs on the same device are different. Why the logs generated (in logcat) are different when the same apk (the same code) has been run two times in the same device? (Even if I run the same app on rebooting, then also the logs coming are different)
Run1Logs and Run2Logs (You can find the logs of an app when ran for two times)

My intution is that may be both the runs of the same apps are not happening in the same environment.
I have the following queries which I would like to know your views:
  • How to run the same app two times in the same environment in the Android device? If not same, then what are the things which we can try so that we are reaching close to getting similar environment?
  • How to know which tags are coming from Android SDK and which tags are coming from the Android App's developer code?
Thanks a lot for helping in my research journey.
