My Chrome tabs disappeared and now show up as a list of open pages rather than the tabs or cards. I can't find anything in the settings that controls this. How do I get the tabs back?

I switched to a new phone recently, and i noticed that Gboard is doing this annoying thing where if it detects a typo and i tap on the letter to fix it but instead it selects the entire word and a popup shows up with words that it thinks im trying to type. On my old phone the suggestions usually show up at the suggestion strip above the number row. Now whenever i do a typo on my native language and i wanna correct it, this thing just shows up thinking "hey these are the english words you're probably looking for". I dont know if its a Gboard thing or a realme thing because my oneplus didnt do anything like this

so something just happened that i witnessed that has devastated me and has made me sooooo ANGRY right now.

earlier this evening after i came home from work. i decided to take my dog for a walk. right on the sidewalk me and my dog were walking, when a young Caucasian man (maybe 20?) came running past us. as the runner ran past us, i saw an older asian man walking toward us and the runner. i saw the runner could see the man and right when they were close, the runner pushed the man who then fell into the street. i quickly yelled at the runner and quickly ran up to the older gentleman and helped him from the street. i tried running after the guy, but he was way faster then i was and had a good start and i could not catch him.

luckily the older gentleman was ok, and there was no traffic on the street. this street can sometimes have a lot of cars driving by and he could have easily been hit by a car.

i asked him if he wants to report this and call the cops and he quickly shot down that idea. he just wanted to go back to his house. luckily it was just down the block as he was just starting his walk. i walked him back to his house to make sure that nothing else happened to him.

so i am an Asian American of Japanese decent. i'm 3rd generation Japanese American. never in my entire life have i felt so vulnerable right now. why are so many people so hateful?

and yes I am going to say this......i think that the rhetoric that came out of trumps filthy mouth calling the SARS CoV2 (otherwise known as Covid-19), the China Virus or Kung Flu......this simple, stupid, idiotic, and RACIST term for the virus has empowered idiots to blame anybody that looks Asian for the cause of the virus .

AND DO NOT TELL ME THAT I"M BLOWING THIS OUT OF PROPORTION!!!!!!!!!

The last couple of days, several of my apps are randomly dying. I get a pop up message like, "Mail has stopped". I kill it and a few minutes later, the pop up appears again. And it's not just Mail. Other apps as well. Also, some of my apps no longer function correctly. For example, the text message app. It allows me to read messages, but I can't send any.

I initially thought it might be that I was running out of memory. So I cleaned things up to free a bunch of memory. But that didn't really make a difference. Then, I thought it might be a problem with the mail app, since that is the one that always seems to pop up first. So I uninstalled and reinstalled it. That seemed to let me use Mail again, but the next day, the problem started again.

Now, I'm thinking it may be some app that's out of control and hogging all the system resources. But I haven't really installed anything new lately. Maybe an app update?

Is there any way to figure out what app is causing the problem (assuming it's a bad app)? Or any other ways to diagnose the problem?

I constantly pocket dial at least a few times a week and my friends do not want to hear from me when I take LitaFord out for potty at 3 am! Vlad Lee had the best app ever but I guess it is against Google rules. Does anyone know of any apps that you confirm the outgoing call?

I read an article about must-have apps for spring. I don't really have some kind in particular. Do you do this as well. Like have some applications for maybe activities you do in springtime?

When I bring Gmail up on my tablet (Huawei BTV Android version 7.0) the program opens then immediately removes itself from the screen. Apparently it is still running in the background, as I can tap the programs that are running, but it just appears, then removes itself from the screen.

This is something that just started happening today, and has worked just fine since buying the tablet perhaps two years ago.

I am wondering if reinstalling the app might fix the problem, but it is a system application, so it cannot be uninstalled.

Any ideas how to proceed from here? I have tried restarting the tablet to no avail, and just am not knowledgeable about such things.

I have a Motorola Moto E4 Plus. I am using Android version 7.1.1.

All my Google apps are broken. For instance, Gmail crashes at startup. Calendar shows me my schedule, but reports a "Sync error" when I try to refresh. Drive says "Synchronization error". Maps says "Can't connect to Maps. Try again in a few minutes". Non-Google apps are affected also. My web browser (SmartCookieWeb) crashes on startup. CalTopo crashes on startup.

If I go to Settings / Account / Google, I can see that there is a "Sync error" on my Google account. I see the message "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly."

I have a notice saying "Account action required". When I click on it, I get a message saying "Google Play services has stopped". If I choose "Open app again", I get the message "Google Play services keeps stopping".

I don't know what the problem is, but I think I caused it accidentally while trying to turn off two-factor authentication. I am on the local search and rescue team, and I have a Google account for the team. I set up my phone to get emails sent to my team account, but I absolutely do not want to use the phone for two-factor authentication for the team account. Nevertheless, in the middle of an emergency last week, while I was trying to work on a rescue map using my team Google account, Google insisted that I respond to a text message sent to this phone, which I didn't have with me. Epic fail, Google. Today, I tried to fix this problem by purging every mention of this phone from my team Google account. As far as I can tell, that fixed the team account two-factor authentication problem, but it somehow broke my phone.

I am not phone savvy. I want things simple.Does anyone have advice on how to make my phone work again?

I deleted my team account from my phone, thinking it was the problem. That didn't help. All Google apps continue to crash or fail as before.

I have an old Raven that the screen lights up, but is just solid white. It suffered a long fall. I replaced the screen, and its still the same. Any idea what needs replaced ? I just want to be able to enable debugging and get the data from it. Unless theres a good app that doesnt need it enabled to retrieve it. Appreciate any advice on the matter. I have another working Raven I can swap parts with. As long as it doesnt wipe my pics and other stuff. Thanks !

Hi all. All of a sudden, my s9+ wont send or receive mms images. I did a factory reset and tried multiple apps. No good. The permissions for sms is lit up, but mms is not there. Any thoughts. Thanx for taking the time to help an old man(me.)

I have 2 galaxy s10 +, one which I have to send back to Samsung but it has sensitive data on it thT I need to remove first. Heres my dilemma I can plug my latest s10 in and everything is good, But when i connect the one thats going back for return, I get a error 43.

I've tried everything from uninstalling drivers, to disable /enable, there isnt a rollback option. i believe t something within the phone its self because the replacement phone connects without issue. Any help would be greatly apreciated. Ive also tried updating drivers thru windows, and going as fare as a whole windows update. Im lost, Any help would be greatly appreciated... Keep in mind it works fine on my replacement phone but not the phone I have to send back. Thanks again
