Ok. My phone is compromised. There are apps in my phone that I havnt downloaded. But yet they exist. some I can uninstall. And I do. But they pop right back up . most of the apps I cannot see There permission. NOR CAN I Shut them down nor uninstall them for they are greyed out. Factory reset. Hard reset. Every reset I know, IVE tried. And when phone boots all back up. POOF!! THEY ARE STILL IN MY PHONE. THE APPS CAN READ AND WRITE MY TEXT, E-MAILS AND STOP THEM. RE-WRITE THE TEXT AND ALSO STOP MY OUTGOING MAIL. AND TEXT AND RE-WRITE THEM WITHOUT MY PERMISSION OR KNOWLEDGE. ALSO APPS TO RE-ROUTE MY CALLS STOP MY CALLS AND STOP XALLS FROM ME HEARING AND OR KNOWING. AND SO MUCH MORE. THEY OWN MY PHONE AND KEEPS ME FROM GOING ON SECURRED SITES. LIKE I SAID. FACTORY RESET DOES NOTHING I am positive.110% positive, Beyond any doubts at all . I need help

I have watched a million youtube videos on this and I am at my wits end.

I keep downloading different apps and at best I can just hear myself. Cube ACR doesn't work either.

It is pretty important for me to record calls in my one party state for reasons outside of this post.

I have read that rooting the phone will permit me to be able to record but so far I have not been able to root it.

Every tutorial I have seen assumes that you have done steps outside of the tutorial previously and does not articulate how to perform those steps. I have crap all over my phone and PC based upon those tutorials in a mad rush to get the phone rooted. I know that is risky, but I am likely going to be getting rid of the phone due to potential call quality issues that I mentioned in another post.

Lots of moving parts but would like some help here please.

Evenin, I'm looking at buying another phone being this one is starting to give me issues . I've had it almost 2 years and I think a google update from over a year ago killed any kind of call recording I was trying to do. Honestly this phone I bought because it was the only thing cheap enough on the shelf at the time at the local Walmart to fit my needs. I'm not trying to spend a lot on a phone but trying to keep it under $200.

I'm with Straight Talk (Verizon) and I have to keep my number, so far I love Samsung phones and would prefer another. Cell Data (manager on) , Sadly my phone is most of my entertainment like YouTube, Pandora, a few games and health meter apps . I watch a few tv shows as well on a CBS app. I don't do a lot of pics or videos, maybe being a YouTube creator is in my future LoL NOT! I hope this gives you an idea of what I do with my phone so maybe it will help your advice.

I really hope the next phone ALLOWS call recording to make my life easier... it's a must!

I have a LG Q60 phone and after a software update I can't change the ringtone. I know how to change it and the phone says I have changed it but the ringtone is never actually changed. Help!

My battery was draining, so I tried the combination as Power on/off+Volume up+Home button. At the moment, the screen of my tablet is locked with a message as on the photo.

Cricket has decided that my Huawei Honor 6X is no longer compatible with their network. They've suspended my account twice now and cut my phone off. It's a really bad time for me to have to buy a new phone but I guess I need to start looking. I was just wanting to get some advice here on one that won't break the bank.

I trusted that my phone automatically change the time on daylight savings time. Brand new phone, havent touched any settings for time, setting was turned 'on' for the auto network time.

Woke up and my s20 hadnt changed automatically? When i looked in settings 'auto date and time provided by network' was still on. Then restarted my phone and everything changed to proper time. This was at 7am(time when daylight savings hadnt changed yet) today. This would have been a big issue if i had an appointment so now im wondering if anyone else had the problem?

A minor malfunction has forced me to change phones. One of the valued apps that still worked well, was SendLeap. When I tried to install it on the new phone, none of my searches for it succeeded. So where/how can I search to find the App I had installed on the old phone. I hope I don't get suggestions for an alternative App - because my question is - HOW CAN I GET SENDLEAP TO INSTALL on my replacement phone.

I had my Samsung J mini prime for few years and had almost no problems with it. Few days ago I noticed it was super hot so I opened the back and the part where the SD card is inserted was so hot I almost burned my finger. I never had anything like that happen before with any phone.

I turned off the phone right away n took out the SD card. Left it to rest for a day. So this is what happens. When I turn it on and there's no SD card in it it seems to be working just fine, the phone does not feel hot. The moment I put the SD card inside it becomes burning hot in that area. Also the SD card stopped reading.

I put another SD card in and it's working just fine. The contects of that SD card show up, and there's no problem with overheating.

I first thought this was my phone but now I don't know because it works fine with another SD card.

Could somebody help me figure out what is going on? Can I fix this? I have a lot of information on that SD card that I don't wanna lose.

A few days ago I was using the phone normally and suddenly it turned off even with the battery level charged at 80%, when I tried to turn it on it only worked until the motorola logo and it turned off again


Whenever it turns off, the lightning battery appears as if the battery were at 0% and then the real battery level appears


I only managed to turn it on by plugging it into the charger, but if I disconnected the usb cable the phone shuts down immediately, for some reason it gradually deteriorated to the point that it did not turn on even with the charger plugged in, and I only got it to turn on in factory mode from the bootloader and plugged into the PC.


Then I tried using LMSA, I only got the problem to be solved temporarily, when I installed the firmware that LMSA indicated to me, the phone returned to work normally even without being plugged in, until I downloaded an app and it turned off again, i tried to reinstall the firmware with LMSA several more times but it didn't work anymore

I also tried unlocking the bootloader and flashing the phone on my own, but that didn't fix the problem either, the only thing I solved is that now it starts up without using the factory mode, but if it is not plugged in, it turns off.

I already took it to an official motorola technician, they didn't want to take it because according to them my phone is assembled in China and they don't have the tools to fix that model

I don't know what else I can do, does someone have a solution?

Hi, I have a Galaxy S8 that I purchased in Sept. 2017 so not quite 4 years old. I don't want to replace because then I'll lose my my data plan to unlimited. I now have 45MB which works better for me than an unlimited plan for downloads, etc., work items. I tried the unlimited plan a few years ago and discovered it might work fine for a phone but not laptop for work downloads and went back to old plan a couple of days later. Now with Covid controlling everything plus e-schooling, the data plan is tapped out on tethering for wifi. It kills my data plan. I live in country and cannot get high speed internet as it doesn't go as far as where I live. My internet signal has been running 'poor' for the last several months and getting worse as losing signal. Does this mean I need to replace phone or can battery be replaced by phone store? Not consumer replaceable.

Hello. I'm new so I hope I'm posting correctly. my S/O of almost 3 years and I have been talking about getting a place together and we've been talking marriage. Well he sent me a screenshot of something and I noticed this weird little notification icon it looks like two people with the heart in it and I know it's a dating app because I seen another one of that was a squarish heart and that's a dating app called u dates.. well I went through that one and can't find him on there so I'm trying to find out the dating app that uses this particular icon. Looking for recommendations for a replacement for a Samsung S10e. The most important factor is size - this is for a person with severe rheumatoid arthritis and limited hand mobility. The S10e form factor of 5.6" x 2.8" is good. An old S6 form factor of 5.65" x 2.78" worked well also.

Replacement does not have to be Samsung and does not have to be 5G; wireless charging is desired.

I have been working with Boost Mobile on this to no avail. They cite that an update is going on in the area. However, I can always use my wife's Motorola phone and there are no issues like that.

It is a horrifying experience when talking to the boss. I am always clear to whoever I am speaking with but I am missing just about one word out of 5 at random no matter who I call or who calls me.

It seems like the issue goes away for a few days and then comes back.

Two negatives....

I bought the phone off of Ebay about 6 months ago....was New in Box.

Also....

I dropped it while in it's case about 2 months ago.

The issues seem to have started a bit after that time.

Before I get a new phone,, I thought that I would ask about this issue here.

I have rebooted the phone a billion times. Again, my wife's phone...different model, same location no issues.
