All I'm trying to do is upgrade an old LG from Android 5.0 to 6.0. That's it.

I've got the drivers installed. I've downloaded three different versions of Flash Tool. The only one I got to do anything was "Flash Tool 2014".

The first time I ran it (following the directions on the web page where I found it), I picked "CDMA", "DIAG", and "CSE Flash". I was able to pick "Other Country" and "English" and got the phone to start installing. However, it only got as far as 4% and gave me an error. Now, when I run it, I pick "Other Country" and can't even pick a language. They're all blank. If I continue, all the messages consist of Question Marks, however, it still gets as far as 4% before stopping.

The phone is bricked in Download Mode. I've tried all the solutions that Google offered: I have tried two different USB cables, two different computers, one of which has Windows 7 & 8.1 installed. I've tried all different USB ports to make sure I'm on USB 2.0 and not 3.0. I've tried running in Administrator Mode. I've even tried to put the wx.dll file in the Phone folder.

What else can I possibly do?

I'd like to create an Android app that detects when a person enters a specific place (it can be a shop or a different public place). I know how to create an Android app that gets the phone's geolocation both by using the GPS provider and the Network provider, but I wonder if basing my app only on geolocation would be a good direction to follow for the project... With this method, I could create a background service that gets the phone location every 5 minutes just so I can determine if the phone is within a range of geolocation. The problem I see with this method is that GPS location is not very precise inside closed places...

I also have the option of installing a different hardware that communicates with the phone when it arrives in the place, like a WiFi or Bluetooth device with a specific MAC address. Even though this method seems to be more stable, I'd rely on the phones having their WiFi or Bluetooth activated all the time, which is a bad thing.

I'd like suggestions on how to approach this problem... I see that Google knows the location I've been because it sends me messages when I go to a specific restaurant. Is there a way to replicate a system like that on my own app? What would be an architecture that allows me to know when a phone got inside a specific place without relying on turned on sensors on the phone?

I just bought an S20 FE 5G which came with the slow 15w charger, and I have already bought the Samsung 25w charger, so all good there. However, I've still got a boatload of leftover Aukey Qualcomm Quick Charge chargers (both 2.0 and 3.0) bought for other phones in our family, including a cigarette lighter unit for the car. Can I still use these with my S20 FE?

I understand that the S20 is designed for USB PD 3.0 charging (as opposed to Qualcomm QC), but the QC product support lists I've been able to find show that many Galaxy S* phones had support for QC 2.0 (but apparently not 3.0). I don't really care if the S20 will charge quickly or slowly using a Qualcomm charger, I just want to know if I can safely charge it without risking damage. I REALLY don't want to have to drag multiple cigarette lighter chargers around in our car!

Samsung's support chatbot of course says you should never charge the phone with anything other than a Samsung-made charger. A predictable response I suppose, but not very illuminating.

My problem is that with the help of YouTube videos o managed to make an Android app of my website , everything works fine , just it does not refresh , and the biggest problem is that if my users are trying to add a photo to adding a listing the pop-up of photos to choose the photo you want for the listing does not appear. The button is changing color when pressed but nothing happens. Please , a quick reminder that o am a complete beginner and probably a moron who needs step by step information. Thank you very much.

As I can't the specific u12 life forum, I'm asking here.
Anyone knows if there was an official upgrade to Android 9 for this device?
My mom owns this phone and she's had strange issues related to the sound - sometimes 'button sound' turns itself on, sometimes ringing sound is muted even when all the sounds are on, and I also can't make whatsaap to show badges on the main screen icon (all the options are on, showing badges also. it doesn't work only for this app).
I even tried to upgrade HTC sense, but when I'm trying to download it form the playstore it says it's no longer compatible... after downloading the newest one (for this android version) from the apk forum, it says 'application not installed'.
I think reinstalling and upgrading software could make it all work better but is it possible?
Maybe someone has any idea how to solve these problems?

Hi I need help I have been trying to figure out the name of a game that I am assuming is no longer on the google play store because I don't see it in my library but the only info I have about it is that the app icon I think was a trash can bin with a pinball or some kind of little silver ball and basically you shoot it into a trash can and the levels get harder and you have several balls or moves before having to restart that level before moving onto the next level? Any help would greatly appreciated. Ps. I think it was between 2013 and 2016 when i came acrossed it in the google play store.

hello i'm trying to better understand the logical structure of android code and resources, starting with the different types of files and folders in my project. There are many different icons with various symbols and colors. In this image there are 5 different folder icons, 9 different file icons, and an elephant. I've edited and executed a few basic open-source apps, but i still don't know what those different icons mean.

Can apps access IMEI and Serial number after Android 10? Apps like Facebook,Instagram,Tinder. Specifically Tinder, my friend got banned on tinder so we're trying to find a work around. I recently bought a Nokia 1.3. Just after set up, I installed Avast Mobile Security on it. A scan found 1 threat: a malware issue.
Here's the exact message that came up in the Avast app:
"Malware detected
Bluetooth contains malware that could harm your device. It is installed in the system partition and cannot be uninstalled. Instead, you must deactivate the app from your system settings."

My question is: Is it safe for me to use my phone if I simply never switch on the Bluetooth?

My mother in law has dementia which means she is extremely forgetful. She often switches off her phone and then forgets to switch it on again. This drives the family crazy because they cannot reach her and does not know wether she is okay or not.

I am looking for an app that I can schedule startups on a phone that is switched off so that we can all know that her phone will be on at a specified time every day.

Can someone please advise me?
