Help Where does WPS Office store files?

I have a Samsung Galaxy 5.

I want to be able to use WPS offline with PowerPoint files I have already created with Google Drive. The files are on Google Drive.

How do I put the files on my phone so that the files can be accessed when I am offline?

This, sort of, works now. But I don't know where WPS stores the files. I am not seeing them in my phone's Android/data folder.

Can I download the files onto my PC and pull them onto my phone so that WPS Office can access them?

J3(6) RAM stacks/crashes

Sam J3(6) Boost (2016) 5.1.1 Phone was fine this morning. While charging, it recieved Twitch and Messenger updates.

When I picked it up, home screen pic was gone. Phone keeps freezing. Battery rapidly draining even when charging.

Cleared caches. Apps closed. Uninstalled Twitch and Messenger. Phone even crashes in safe mode, though slightly slower when staring at it, as opposed to not in safe mode. When not in safe mode "system" of ram use fills quicker, "apps" stays the same either way. The bar keeps filling until red, crashes, then is unresponsive for a bit.

Home screen loads very slow. Restart takes extra time. Home screen pic keeps going blank, I've tried changing the photo, same issue.

It crashed multiple times while typing this.

Kiiben Percussion Massager Review (with Video)

Folks,

From time to time I review things on Amazon. Understand that I am new at this and am low-budget and say a lot of uhhh.. duhhh.. and have spaces in what in I say, which is all off the cuff.

Anyhoo, I would like to share infos on the better products that may be great deals on Amazon. The stuff I review comes from China. Some of it's really good, some of it's really bad. I'll put some of the good stuff up here. If you like to read this stuff, I'll put more up. If not, that's okay. I'll go away. :)

The first thing one of my latest reviews. It's a Kiiben Percussion Massager. I'll put the video up as well the written review.

Game Changer
The reason I went to the trouble of doing an unboxing and a video review is because I’m very excited about this product. The massager has been a game changer for us. You see, my wife is an athlete and gets sore muscles regularly. This is a gentle yet deep tissue massage or that really does the trick and makes her feel better. I have truly appreciate it for myself as well. It’s highly therapeutic and for people who Are you serious about getting a therapeutic massage without spending hundreds upon hundreds of dollars regularly.

This is truly a game changer. This will be your last stop for buying a massager. I tried those collar massages and they’re only partially successful but this gets deep and it’s highly maneuverable obviously because it’s a gun. It’s a solid piece of craftsmanship. You need not worry about quality. This will last. The old adage that you get what you pay for is true. This may cost a couple dollars more but it is well worth it. I highly recommend it.

Internal Location of Device is not where I am from

I have a Moto g7 power. I bought it unlocked. My problem is that the google play store, and most recently xbox game streaming don't let me access some features available only in America, because my phone does not think im in America. I live in America btw. Whenever I get system updates, not android ones, it shows them in Spanish, or some other language. So my phone internally thinks I'm not from America. And yes I have changed it in time settings and play store. Anybody know how to make my phone think it was manufactured, and from the US?

p1ma40 ,problem with a registration into the Google account, Factory Reset Protection?

Hello. I have a problem, maybe it concerns Factory Reset Protection.

I bought a Lenovo p1ma40 phone from a friend, the operating system should have Android 5.1.

The phone required to select a language, then inserting a simcard and then connecting to the Internet on a Wi-Fi network / WLAN from the beginning to power on and start up the startup screen. After a few seconds, he showed a message that the connection to Google servers was unsuccessful or something similar. Inserting or not inserting the simcard did not affect the overall result. All wi-fi networks detected, but none could be connected. I did a hard reset via "wipe data / factory reset". Requires an Internet connection after restarting in the initial setup. Detects Wi-Fi networks, but when you click on one of them to connect immediately displays the message "Couldn't connect to the internet". The Google Account Verification screen will not appear at all.

When switched on via Volume Up + Start it shows, among other things:

MMI Test: Fail

PCBA Test: Fail

Sensor test: fail

Fastboot mode does not appear to work.

I do not have my own PC on which I would have permission to install some software as a network administrator. I have available:

- A working Lenovo phone with Android 6.0

- flash drive

- USB cables

- OTG reduction

Do you know any solution how I can put into operation or test, diagnose, if possible without paid software, eg free software, myself, this phone? Thank you very much for your help.

Want no sounds unless called or texted or if one particular app makes a noise

I'm in an on call rotation at work, so every 3 weeks, after hours, if I get a call or text, I need to hear it. My last phone, I fine tuned it so the phone didn't make a sound unless I got a call, text, or paged. I dont want to he woken up everytime someone makes a Facebook post. This Note 10+, i can't seem to get it to stop making noises. Everytime i get an alert, i check what made the alert then turn off notifications for that app. But sometimes it just makes a noise and I don't see a notification. Dont know if anyone has any suggestions? Right now, I kind of have a work around. I have a sound profile app that, at night, all volumes are down except phone calls. If I get a text that's a page, I'm using an app called sms pager which makes a lot of racket if the text comes from a number that I'm paged from. But, I would feel a lot better if I didn't need to turn volumes down on anything but phone calls... my luck somehow it wont alert me because the volumes are off somehow. I'd feel a lot better knowing I can keep the volumes up at night and my phone didn't make a sound unless a call or page.

Weird issues with Note 10+

So a few weeks ago, I got this Note 10+.  I've been having a lot of weird problems with this phone.

I can't download any apps over wifi.  (My wife's new pixel 4 works just fine on wifi.)  Downloading apps over 4G works but is super slow.  When I'm on wifi and run speed test, I get over 100 Mb/s.  Can do everything else, browse the web etc.  Just can't download apps.

When using Google maps for navigation, when I first launch it and start navigating, it just shows a dot, not an arrow, and the screen just randomly moves until i drive about a half a mile.  Then it starts working.

Trivia Crack app, when its showing a question, it just shows a blank screen and in the middle, there's icons quickly cycling between all the categories and it never shows me a question.  Then after a minute or so it says I didn't answer in time and I lose my turn.

We have a ring Doorbell and in the ring app, I can't view live video.  It just shows a blue circle and black screen.  But I can view recordings.... just not live video.

All of these issues (except the first issue I listed), I have the problem if I'm on wifi or 4g.

So I figured I was getting close to my 2 week window to return the phone.  I went to Verizon today and exchanged the phone for another exactly same Note 10+.  I'm having all the same issues on the new phone.  (They wouldn't allow me to get a different phone.) What is up with all of these issues?  I've had android phones for over 15 years now and never had all of these issues.

Moto 360 Review (2020)

When the very first Moto 360 launched it was heralded as the sexiest smart watch hardware on the planet and rightfully so- Motorola was the only manufacturer at the time rocking the circular watch face to near perfection.

Fast forward nearly a decade and Android smartwatches haven't exactly gained the type of steam people may have expected. That hasn't stopped manufacturers from forging ahead and the new 2020 Moto 360 with Wear OS is the latest device in the good looking smartphone department.

Here is Mr Mobile taking a look:

It looks great, specs are solid, and there is A LOT to like about the new Moto 360... except the fact that Wear OS simply hasn't fulfilled its promise. And the main downfall: it costs $350 bucks and doesn't have a microphone for voice controls as many of its cheaper competitors have.

Here are the Moto 360 (2020) Specs:
  • Processor - Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ Wear 3100
  • Operating System - Wear OS by Google™
  • Battery - Quick charge 355mAh
    0-100% in 60 minutes
  • Memory - 1GB RAM + 8GB Internal Memory
  • Connectivity - Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi b/g/n, NFC, GPS / GLONASS / Beidou / Galileo
  • Sensors - Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer, HRM, Ambient Light
  • Water Resistance - 3ATM
    Tested for 10,000 swim strokes
  • Compatibility - Android 5.0 or higher
    iOS 10.0+
  • Dimensions & Weight - 42.8 x 42.8 x 11.68mm (13.28 w/ HRM)
    52g (without strap)
  • Case - SUS316 Stainless Steel
PVD coating (Steel Grey & Rose Gold)
    DLC coating (Phantom Black)
  • Strap Width - 20mm
  • Display - 1.2" Circular AMOLED (390x390)
    Full Color Always On Display
    Corning Gorilla Glass 3
Personally, I'd pocket that $350 and put it towards a Galaxy S20. But I'm not really a smartwatch person- I'm waiting for the days of near infinite battery life (charged at a distance over the air please).

My personal preferences aside, I wouldn't be surprised if the new Moto 360 found its fair share of buyers based on looks alone.

Best Budget Android Phone in 2020

The best Android Phone in 2020 will likely be the Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra, but not everyone wants to fork over a cool $1k+ on a smartphone. These days the budget Android phones give you the best bang for your buck and have plenty of horsepower under the hood (including amazing cameras).

It seems the current consensus is that the Pixel 4A will be the best budget Android Phone of 2020.

Some key points:
  • There will ONLY be a Pixel 4A (no Pixel 4A+ or another variation)
  • There will be 3 color combinations that aim to stand out:
    • Black phone with Green power button
    • White phone with Orange power button
    • Blue phone with Pink power button
  • Specs include:
    • 144.2 x 69.5 x 8.2 mm
    • Plastic unibody
    • 5.81" display (bigger than Pixel 3A)
    • Fingerprint sensor on back
    • No wireless charging
    • Hole punch camera on front
    • 1 lens, 1 flash on rear
    • Headset jack is a GO!
  • Price: $399
These specs aren't confirmed and the sub-$400 price is more of collective wishful thinking from YouTubers the world over, but if Google wants the Pixel 4A to be considered a budget Android phone it cannot go any higher. And $400 is even pushing it for a budget Android phone these days.

What price point will the Pixel 4A have to hit for you to be a buyer? Any make or break specs?

Help with files by google

Use the app files by google mainly because it was the easiest to understand then one day I tried to move something to the SD card and message flashed'error unknown couldn't move file', and haven't been able to use that again. And nothing shows in SD card files using the app. Have no idea even what's on card anymore. Any apps similar?

Where are Google Product Forums?

It seems that Google closed down their traditional Product Support forums last year in favor of a new system. Unfortunately the new system ditches many of the old topics (such as Android Phones) and they're redirecting old conversations to a dead page.

I found this when trying to visit a link I had bookmarked. I'm wondering how many other people are realizing this just now?

Chances are you can find everything you need here at Android Forums: we have a complete list of Android Phones here, you can try the search bar at the top of this page, and if still you can't find what you're looking for you can create a new post here.

Help! I don't get it! Storage is almost full and some apps may not work

Ok, I'm not stupid but I am completely lost reading things that, at first, look like they'll answer questions I've had forever. When I open the thread, I feel like a kindergartner in a college class.
Maybe I'm old.
I used to say "Phones are for making calls. I don't need all the other stuff". Then I discovered that the 'stuff' was kinda cool. What I could figure out. I can work thru a PC ok but I'm baffled by my phone!
Ex: My phone barely has any apps not factory installed. Couple games, bunch of pictures (supposedly stored on a cloud somewhere in a galaxy far, far away, wherever the he!! that is!) that I don't know how to find. Besides my phone's storage, I have an SD card I put in cuz I thought that had extra storage space. I'm constantly getting messages that my storage is almost full and some apps may not work properly. My friend, same exact phone, same phone account, and she has tons of apps and games and stuff. Why? How can this be? Why can't I have more than 4 games and some cool apps?
I stumbled onto this forum, who knows if I'll find it again, and started reading threads thinking I'd find answers. But y'all are light-years over my head and probably still in highschool! No disrespect intended!!
Is there a book, a class, a PAMPHLET that is like "How to use a cell phone, for stupid old people" in basic English? I'm wasting all this technology and I want to learn. But I don't understand the jargon. I just need it explained in simple terms. I don't want to build rockets or even manage my home appliances! I want to play games, take (AND PRINT) a few pictures, watch free movies once in a while, make grocery lists, save addresses and phone #'s, send & receive texts and emails, use the calendar for schedules, & do Facebook. Simple, right? I thought so!!!! Nope, can't do it.
HEEEELLLLP!?!?!?!? I got a phone and I don't know how to use it!!

Issue I would like everyone to know about

I wanted to share my recent experience with Samsung customer service. I purchased a Samsung S10 plus in September, approximately. I immediately noticed an issue with the phone ghost touching and turning volume down as well as screen brightness. I contacted Samsung and a repair ticket was generated for me to take it to a repair shop locally to have the issue addressed. I took time out of my Saturday and took it in understanding that these things happen. I was without my phone for several hours while the repair was being completed. After receiving the phone back I noticed that the problem still existed. It took me a little to find time on another Saturday to call Samsung again and have another work ticket generated. I once again took it to the same repair shop and gave them the phone. They expressed there was nothing they could do but replace the same components as last time and it would not likely solve the problem. I asked them at what point is it warranted that my phone be replaced. They told me that Samsung will only consider replacing a phone if the same issue is reported three times. With no other option I once again lost the time on my Saturday and the hours without my phone. Once again I noticed that the problem still existed. I contacted Samsung again reporting the issue and asking what my options where for replacing the faulty product. I was told that my only option was to send my phone in and they would look at it and either repair it or replace it. While I understand that this is a track toward a solution the fact is that my phone is a work phone and I almost exclusively run my work operations from my phone in the field and am rarely in my office. I expressed that this track was not feasible due to the above fact. They said they could expedite it to 5 to 7 days. While a appreciate the offer to expedite the process this really does not solve the issue. I asked to speak to a manager and got the same response from the manager, it was actually a supervisor as a manager was not available. I asked whom I could speak to next and I was told that I would receive a call back from an account manager, may have that title wrong. Today I received a call from that manager and was once again told that I would have to mail my phone it and there where no other options. I plead that this was not a feasible option as I can be disconnected from my customers and contractors for that long. I asked to be sent a phone so I could transfer my data and send the original back after. I was told this was not an option and that was Samsung's policy. I asked to speak to that persons manager. I was told upper management decided that there where no options to send me a phone as I requested. I asked to speak to someone from upper management and was told I could not speak to them. I was then dismissed off the phone as they said Samsung has given me an option to get the phone repaired and they would do no more.

To be clear, I am a Director at a zoo where I have several projects going on involving animal habitats, animal welfare, and utilities to animal care areas. I am not saying I cant be without a phone because I need to interface with social media, I'm saying it because if my projects go without management or problems occur and I can be reach animal welfare is involved. I am a Director of Facilities and Construction with an animal background. I worked in animal care for 15 years and care deeply about the animals at my facility. The inflexibility and disregard of the customer service team is truly disappointing. I hope this message finds someone's eyes with whom grasps the complexity of this problem.

Thank you,
