I wanted to download the numerical information of digital wellbeing. How can I get it from an Android device? Is it in some cache? Please help.

I factory resert my Samsung galaxy 6edge and now it is stuck on the checking network page,m says it will take a few mins but it has been like this for over an hour now, I haven't signed into any wifi as I dont have any in the house, what should I do.

So, I'm on a team where every 3 werks, I'm on call for a week. For years I've used an app called klaxon. It worked great. I could mute my phone so getting normal notifications didn't wake me. But if I received an on call page text, my phone would go bazerk.

I just got a new phone (Samsung galaxy note 10+ running android 10.) Now the klaxon app isn't in the app store anymore. To get around this, I backed up the apk file on my old phone and installed it on the new phone. When launching the app, it alerts me it's not compatible with my phone. And getting pages, the app catches them but does not alert me.

I've kind of found a work around. I am using the do not disturb option on the phone and allowing all calls and texts after hours. But still if I still somehow sleep through the call and don't hear the one beeps for the text, I'll miss the page. With the klaxon app, when I got an on call text, it would repeatedly make a noise until i acknowledged it.

Anyone have any idea how to get this new phone to work similar?

Personally, a good vibration motor is very important to me, but I feel like I might be in the minority. When I used an LG v10, the haptics were pretty good, but when I upgraded to a OnePlus 5t, the haptics were so ridiculously bad that I disable touch feedback in the device. After recently getting a OnePlus 7 pro, I'd say that the great haptic motor is my second favorite feature, right below the screen.

Hello please I need help and my brain is already paining. How do I run a script app I bought and use it to develop the app and upload on Google play store. I'm just a dummy

I have a clumsiness problem that has cost me several phones, now that I've amassed a collection of three I'd like to do something to get the data off of them. I've been looking up how to do this and thought it might be more useful outing the problems to see what the best approach is. None of them has USB Debugging enabled.

1. Motorola One - Broken the most recently, low priority stuff on there, photos and some data on apps I'd like to view. The screen is shattered and I'm unsure if it's responsive to touch. The display was at first flickering and pixelated, with me being able to see the clock buzzing about on the lock screen, but now when I press the power button but I can only see it light up but not display any colour. Seems to be charging fine. If there was any chance of repair, this would be the one I'd be willing to spend money on.

2. Moto E4 - Broken a year ago, lost cause in terms of responsiveness but there are texts on there that would be really, really useful to me. Anyways to specifically recover texts?

3. Obi MV1 - Broken 3 years ago, want to recover holiday photos from India off there which I can't access any other way. Single crack along screen which totally disabled touch screen. Would have been a simple repair if anywhere stocked parts for an obscure phone off Amazon.

If I could get something that would be able to recover data off all three I'd be willing to drop a fair bit of money on it. General or specific suggestions are welcome.

I have a problem installing apps using Android Studio (3.5.3) whereby sometimes it simply hangs. To fix this, I have to perform an installation on the command line and disable streamed installation (i.e. force a push install):

adb install -r -t --no-streaming app-debug.apk

Is there a way to force the option "--no-streaming" in Android Studio? The only related option I can find is the "Install Flags" in the "Run/Debug Configuration", but the hint text for this says "Options to 'pm install' command", and this suggests that this is only used if non-streaming is used (i.e. push to temporary file on device, then use pm install on the device).

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I’m new to android development and my first app is nearing completion. Obviously I want to test it before I ship it.

I’m fairly confident in creating tests that look at the app itself, i.e. it’s functionality, compatibility on multiple screen sizes and OS levels etc. What I’m less sure about it is what could happen outside the app that could have an affect on it. I think my primary concern is ensuring the app continues to function correctly when different parts of the lifecycle are hit that might be out of the ordinary. The sorts of tests I’m thinking of are:

• What happens when the user gets a call when using the app?
• What happens when the user exits the app in one orientation, but re-enters in another, or in split screen mode?
• What happens if the user kills the app from the app overview screen?
• What happens when the user uninstall/re-installs the app?
• What happens when the user restarts their phone with the app open?

Does anyone have any suggestions on resources for generic tests like this that I should make sure I test?

I need to remote control a distant android phone (say phone-A) on a local android phone (say phone-B). Both phones are NOT connected to Internet nor WiFi network. I have been googling several days reading documents searched but can't find solution. Would AirMore be my choice? Using Hotspot or Bluetooth? But the former sill needs WiFi connection.

My alarm volume--and ONLY the alarm volume--keeps turning itself all the way down. I didn't know until after sleeping through the alarm for several days, and chalking it up to stronger sleep meds. I finally decided to check it, and found the problem wasn't with the alarm, but with the volume.

I turn it back up all the way, and forget about it--and then the next morning, I sleep through the alarm again...because the volume's turned all the way down again!

Ideas?

I cannot find the option for: Calls and text on other devices ,,, im my note 10+
If i flash the firmware would that solve the problem
It seems that all versions bought from egypt miss that option however it was in my previous note s 10

so i came across some stupid youtube video the other day that briefly mentioned a sequel to one of my favorite games of all time Horizon Zero Dawn.

there is nothing official and nothing has leaked as of yet. but i just wanted to get this thread started in anticipation for leaks and rumors to start appearing. i know without a doubt that there will be one.

it is a game that i already finished, but from time to time i would pop it in to my ps4 to play when i get that itch to kill some huge mechanized dinosaurs.

the game definitely ended with the potential for a sequel.

Hello my dear Android people. After so many years I finally decided to reward myself with a Note and left the Apple clan. Always wanted a Note due to its versatility but never had the guts 5o learn an entirely new operating system. Feeling overwhelmed and like a fish out of water. Love my phone but so much to learn. I'm trying to root the phone of a family member, but I got into a LOT of trubble.
According to the label behind the phone, it's SM-N9200, I attached the label without the IMEI.



After reading and learning, I decided to flash recovery and kernel inorder to root the phone.

1. So I flashed TWRP using odin based on this tutorial:

I picked the version of: "China & China Duos (SM-N9200, SM-N9208)"

2. After flashing I got into recovery (without loading system), and flashed some kernel that should fit to this phone.
I picked the newest kernel in the forum:

But I think that this was a mistake, I don't know if this kernel fits to stock system.

The installation of the kerenl took ages (2-4 hours), the thing that took so long was the dealing with the system partition for the rooting.

3. Tried to boot into system, right in the start above the logo of samsung galaxy note5, I saw in red that the kernel is not seandroid enforcing.
But the system never booted, it just stuck in the black screen with the logo of samsung galaxy note5.

4. i tried another kerenl:

But it didn't work and the phone is still it stuck in the black screen with the logo of samsung galaxy note5.


Now I don't know what to do...
I hope I didn't damaged the system and it's still recoverable.
I can't earse the phone, we want to recover all the data including all system.

As we know, Facebook supplies the APK for Facebook on its official website. But it does not supply the APK for Facebook Messenger.

Do you know why there is a different policy for its Android apps?

If my phone is incoming ringing sound, I can mute it immediately by display screen facing downwards/floor/table, but if my media has audio I am unable to mute media by display screen facing downwards/floor/table.

What is the difference in setting up call forwarding using the code sequences that you dial out and using the phone settings option with the OS? If using the latter it doesn't actually seem to dial out anything so how does it work? Are there any pros and cons to either method?

On Samsung Tab A 10.1 with Android 9 on it, I'd like to install/play Jazz Jack Rabbit.
What I already do have is 'the secret files' and Magic Dosbox, but I don't know how to go ahead.
