I have the Note 10 plus and so far love it. However, I am a bit disappointed with the S Pen as it doesn't seem to be supported by all apps. I play some casual games and it only works on a few. I also find the hard tip very slippery on the screen so hard to use with any of the drawing apps such as Pen Up.

Are there any settings that I don't know about?

I recently got a new Note 10+ and am trying to transfer my WeChat history from my old device to the new one. I also have WeChat PC running on my Surface Pro and have managed to back up the chats from the old device to the PC. However, I am unable to restore it to my new phone. Whenever I select restore to phone it just displays the message on the phone "Connection error, Try again on computer".

They are both connected to the same network and obviously recognize each other because I have to confirm the login on the phone in order to open the PC version.

Any ideas?

Update: Problem solved. I have a VPN running on the PC and the phone. I had disconnected it on the PC but forgot to do it on the phone. Once I disconnected both, I was able to complete the transfer.

I'm looking for a text editor (or maybe file manager) under Android that allows me to read and write GNUPG-encrypted text. The encryption/decryption must be via GNUPG (or just plain PGP would also be fine). I do not want to utilize any other form of encryption.

In other words, I want this text editor (or file manager) to be able to do all the following things ...

(1) Read a plain-text file on my Android device and allow me to make changes to it and to save the results back on my device in plain-text form.
(2) Read a plain-text file on my Android device and save it on that same device encrypted via GNUPG.
(3) Read a GNUPG encrypted file on my Android device and display it to me in plain-text for editing. When I save my changes, they are stored back on my device in GNUPG-encrypted form.
(4) Read a GNUPG encrypted file on my Android device and display it to me in plain-text for editing. When I save my changes, they are stored back on my device in plain-text form.

I want the choice of saving the file in either encrypted or plaintext form to be specified on a file-by-file basis at run time.

I haven't found anything like this anywhere, despite lots of searching. But hope springs eternal, and I'm wondering if perhaps I missed something.

Stupid question for y'all. I was told to stop apps not using to free up GB, so my ZTE Max will keep running smoothly. Did a Factory reset using the volume and power buttons and went back to Almost factory reset. Happy now,but all the apps pre installed keep running and using up items.So should I Disable or Force stop the apps? Ex: Amazon Kindle, Google everything except play store and chrome browser (I use Mint Browser and Downloader) So,any help with this matter is greatly appreciated, Thanks.

I just got an A50 and the timelime feature for Google Maps is not working. Location services are on, and the map shows me where I am at any point in time, but is not either recording or showing the timeline.

Samsung A50 Android 9.0

Lately that's just the problem I've been having. The phone mentions it, too, but apparently can do nothing about it. I am using as far as I know the original charger that came with it (a used Samsung Galaxy S5). Even plugged in it can drop to maybe 90%. Last night I shut it off and just let it charge, which worked (100%) but this morning it's up to its old tricks.

Help!!! I have pages manager on my phone in all the years ive had it ive not had this issue!!
This morning when sending a message to someone i was able to click on the photo icon and select albums go into an album and choose which photo id like to send to that person. Tonight its all changed when i follow the same steps it doesnt give me the option of accessing my albums only photos which is extremely frustrating! Does anyone know if pages manager has changed or been updated or how to go to my albums rather than it showing every photo stored on my phone

My moms phone got wet and then something red must have touched the screen. Now she has a few red stains on the screen. How do you safely clean them off? (BTW this is not recent. Phone is dry. It happened montjs ago)

My friend bought an LG G stylo from a pawn shop, and we did not realize that you needed the previous google account to unlock the phone...


I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of, I cannot install any apps from the internet, because I get an " app is restricted from drawing error. Does any one know of any software that could possibly boot this thing into a recovery mode? Volume + and power does nothing to boot to recovery mode, volume down and power just takes it to a factory reset. The phone was legally bought, but I think he might just have a paper weight. any help is appreciated guys.

Why am I now getting full page popup ads on my Samsung S8. They popup on my phone while I'm surfing or making a call or or looking for an app. They don't seem to be related to any action I'm doing on my phone and they advertise anything from hernia support to major car brands and everything in between.

Hi! I'm trying to make an app with a WhatsApp Sticker Pack, but the Android Studio simply refuses to compile the signed apk to play store upload because of a specific variable, that the studio says that doesn't exist.

If i change the variable name to a variable that i know that exist, or simply change the code to "text" or (String)"Text" the Studio simply change the error!

Hi, I am looking for an App that I can install on my android tv box, so I can stream from my iphone. I used to have an android phone and I used to stream to my tv box using the app bubbleUPnP on the tv box, so I could stream to it. Now I found an app for my iphone to stream to my tv, but apparently my tv does not support it. The app i have on my iphone is called “webvideocaster” but it does not connect to the bubbleupnp app (but it appears on the list to connect to). I am looking for another app like bubbleupnp so I can stream to my tv box again. Can anyone help my please? Thanks!
