Help Samsung "Can’t Load Android System Your Data May Be Corrupt"

I damaged my older Samsung a20e and I don't know what to do.

As an amateur, I looked at various instructions on how to flash Firmware, as a result I downloaded more than one Firmware for a20e (O2C, which is correct in my case) and flashed it via Odin.

Unfortunately, I did it without making a backup because I am an amateur who got into something I had no business with.

Everything seemed fine, Odin wrote: Pass

But it isn't as it only loads the Samsung logo and keeps restarting.

After a while it throws me android recovery (if I don't go there myself) with the message: Can’t Load Android System Your Data May Be Corrupt

It offers me a factory data reset, but then nothing happens.

I somehow got to the normal android recovery menu, but even after deleting all the data, cache and trying to reboot it is still the same.

I will be glad if there is someone who can help me.

Words Soccer

I would like to introduce my new online game Word Soccer. The principle of the game is to make more words from the available letters than your opponent in six rounds.
In each round you can also get a yellow card if you don't use each of the offered letters at least once, or your longest composed word is shorter than your opponent's longest word.
For each red card, you then lose one of the letters offered in the next round.
Primarily, the game should only take nouns, but the dictionary is unfortunately not yet fully fine-tuned as I'm not from an English-speaking country, but if there are problems, you can either double-tap the unrecognized word to suggest it be added to the dictionary, or conversely, you can double-tap a word that has been recognized by your opponent and shouldn't be to suggest it be removed from the dictionary.

Pixel Fold June 2023 Release....you getting one????

hey guys,
so this is the second time this has happened to me on my z fold phones. 1st it was my z fold 3 and now its happening on my z fold 4. what is happening you asked? well the screen protector is starting to come off.....right in the middle near the hinge. you can hear it crackle when close and open it. you can hear the glue unstick from the protector. i do not notice it as much when it is unfolded and the screen is on. but turn the screen off and you can see it.

so long story short i have an appointment at the Samsung Experience store here in LA. hopefully they can fix it on the spot. as much as i love the phone, i am getting tired of the screen issue.

so now i am thinking of getting a pixel fold. so far the reviews have been really good. and they have a good trade in program. once the screen is fixed on my z fold 4, google will give me $900 bucks trade in. i have no idea though as to where i will buy it....online or at Best Buy. at Best Buy i have can get the Geek Squad protection for it. i do not know if google has something similar.

anyways, is anybody else considering getting one?

Blu contact blues

My friend got a Blu government phone from somebody who was sick of it. Yeah, it's a real cheapie. Now the guy who had it wants the contacts from it. That sounds simple enough but it's been a headache. We couldn't find a way to export them as a file, only import. Apparently it's not possible to send them via email. Probably the only thing left is to write them out by hand and mail them. I guess the phones aren't in close enough proximity for some kind of sharing.

Help Google Photos sporadically duplicated all media

Google Photos has just created a duplicate of almost all of my media on my Pixel. It seems it has sporadically split virtually each photo/video into on-device and on-Cloud copies, whereas before the on-device/Cloud split was consolidated into each photo/video. The on-device copies are currently not being backed up to the Cloud due to storage having run out, and I want to keep it that way as I don't want a duplicate of each on the Cloud. If I manually go through and delete the duplicate on-device copies (which would, btw, take a very long time), I expect there is a high probability Google Photos will also delete the Cloud copy when it syncs due to shared metadata (I've seen Google Photos do similar automatic deletions in the past). So how can I resolve this? P.S. This is far from the first critical bug I've reported. I plan to switch back to iPhone after this, although they have their own issues, but not as bad as this.

Tor trouble

I got on Tor and googoo asked if I wanted it to save a password. NO I DO NOT. Then I attempted a download but the connection timed out, more than once. It did show that I downloaded, although I could not find it in Simple Files. I shut down Tor and had the same experience when I fired it up again. Is googoo somehow involved in this (beyond the password)? How do I get them to mind their own business for once? Cache clearing is probably not enough. I don't want to lose searches or anything that way. Lord knows I am tempted to do something about googoo and/or their "play services".

Backup Samsung Android Phone

I have recently migrated from iPhone to a Samsung Android. I am trying to figure out the best way to backup the whole phone so that it could be restored to a new phone including apps, app data, widgets, layout etc. In the settings under "Accounts and backup" and "Smart switch", there is an option for "External storage transfer" to backup to a USB storage device but it's not clear exactly what this backs up.

My Clipboard Deleted

Hi all,

Yesterday, I accidentally deleted my save on Samsung A51. It really was important stuff. I've tried GBoard, but it only recovers the latest save. I need to recover like 5 previous saves. Do you think there's another way to do it? I've tried recovery tools like iMyFone D-Back, but I don't know what to look for. Not sure if it was saved as an image or a document. Can anybody help me out?

Thanks in advance

Android Recent Photos vs Google Photos

Hey y'all.

Sorry if this mentioned earlier but I have an issue with my new phone. I was using S20+ earlier and now upgraded my phone to S23+ today. There wasn't any photos at my new phone but when I logged into the Google Photos that "Recent Photos" came up to my gallery.

Does it have a relation with Google Photos? I assume it has but what if I delete all of the photos in this " Recent Photos " folder, will it somehow effect my Google Photos? I just don't want this folder to cover that much space on my phone.

Also, I've noticed that this folder somehow has the files that I even deleted from the Google Photos itself! What's up with this anyway?

ecoATM

There's a Walmart by me that has a ecoATM machine at the entrance, which says get cash for your phone. I have a really old Motorola and LG phone and wondered if I could get any cash for them. I think the Motorola phone was only 3G and I think the LG was a early 4G phone.

LOL! I ran both phones through there process and got $12 for the LG phone and $6 for the Motorola phone. I'm happy with the cash. I would have toss them in the electronic trash my city has every year.

Memorial Weekend

Do you have big plans for the three day weekend? I hope that you get to spend some quality time with friends and or family. I have a daughter flying in to help her younger sister prepare for her wedding early next month. It's not often that I have the chance to see all of my children at the same time so it will be a special time. We are gathering at my son's house for a big BBQ Monday. It will be a great time.

Though we enjoy the time off and early summer fun with friends and family, it's best that we don't forget the reason we for the "holiday". It is a day to morn and honor the loss of those that gave their lives so that we might enjoy the freedoms of this great nation.

Weird System Message

Hello,

Phone: Galaxy Note 9
Android Version: 10
Software Version: N960USQU9FVG2
Kernel Version: 4.9.186
Rooted: No
Carrier: Verizon

Recently, my phone has randomly been displaying a weird system message in the bottom third of the screen. It is an Android system message bubble that just displays the numbers "304030001"

The interval is seemingly random. Doesn't seem to happen in particular apps but will happen in all of them. There are no sounds, or notifications that accompany it. It is not interactive and I have no idea what it is from. Nothing else seems to be wrong with the phone. Frequency is roughly 10-15 times per day based on the amount of times I observe it. I don't believe it is tied to the installation of any application as when I first saw it, nothing had changed. Nothing else seems

I will try and get a screen shot and post. I'd appreciate any insight into what is causing this.

As a side note: I was able to find this, here: https://docs.zegocloud.com/article/7082

Error trying to publish app on Google Play Store to tests - google pixel emulator and googlequicksearchbox error

Searching before, I think this error only happens with google pixel emulator, because I don't have any problems in the app.

The problems seems to be in google search app, I tried disabling google permissions solve it, but I don't have this permission to change in google play console.

How can I deal with it? Does someone know?

Samsung A23 - Blocking and removing apps

Hi

I have a Samsung A23, (will be buying additional 49 after this is figured out and configured) I want to remove all software on it, add 1 communication app to the main screen (which will work via wifi) there will not be any sim card installed, I want to block/disable any installations of apps etc , including social media, browsing the web, and giving the user the phone without a google account on it (don't mind using one to implement this, then removing it), the mobile will be used only for corporate use, to receive and make calls, hence the reason for this

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

I hate getting a new phone

<vent>Nevermind. Words simply cannot express the degree of my frustration, even with expletives.</vent>

OK, here's the background. I've been using Droid Turbo 2's (Nougat) for myself and my husband for a number of years now, replacing them with eBay purchases when my husband loses his phone or the batteries die or something else unrepairable occurs. I have Google backups turned on, but I don't trust them (having once had a new phone overwrite my Google backup with an empty backup, and since then routinely finding that my old apps, once no longer available on Google Play, cannot be restored), nor do I trust ANY sync app where I can't manually control the direction of transfer. I supplement my Google backups with SMS Backup & Restore, apkExtractor, local backup features on my apps, and Beyond Compare - I literally back up everything that Windows can see onto my computer hard drive. I don't use Google Photos, I use an SD card. I don't even have a gmail account, although of necessity I do have a google account.

Moving to a new Droid Turbo 2 is normally a 1.5-day affair, as the Google Play app itself that is initially loaded onto the phone can't install many of my apps until I update it, and I always forget exactly what steps are required to get it updated and restarted; and then it takes forever to get all the apps downloaded and installed, and if I don't just WAIT and make sure they're all downloaded, I just make a confused mess of it (and I sometimes find I've got duplicates of most of them). I've done it enough times now that I pretty much know the drill.

Anyway, the last time we got new Droid Turbo 2 phones was only a year ago, and the batteries (whether in refurbished phones or new old stock) are just not lasting that long any more. So, I figured it was time to update. I decided to try a Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G. Making the transition on my own phone before committing to switching my husband's phone over.

First off, I hadn't realized I was going to have to set up a Samsung account, and with a DOB more than half a century ago, that required going to the web site on my PC, as the UI on the phone is a complete nonstarter (can you say, "scroll backwards through over 700 calendar screens one f*ing month at a time"???). But OK, I got that done, lived some more of my life, and came back to this a few weeks later. Apparently I entered my google information back at the beginning of the month. So now I answered all of the questions about which Google services and which Samsung services I wanted to enable, and upon seeing next to nothing on my home screen, I checked the Play store and saw that 110+ apps were in the process of being installed. OK, great. But then I went to check later, and actually it's 110+ apps that were not able to be restored. There are 28 apps that are either AT&T apps or google or samsung apps or other stuff that I never had on my old phones that look like they've installed just fine.

I haven't yet put the SIM card in the new phone, in the past I always did my switchover using wifi. I did put a different password on the new phone - that has never been a problem before, either, I always change my password when I get a new phone.

Is this just another case of Play Store needing to update before I can download everything, but Samsung (or a newer Android OS) showing me this differently? Or is there some fundamental incompatibility between my old backups and my new phone? Or what exactly is going on? Is there some other layer of authentication I need to do?

Also, I know this is a stupid question with an answer I don't want to hear, but isn't there some way on this Samsung phone to move the navigation softbuttons up away from the extreme bottom of the screen, so that I can hold the phone without accidentally touching them?

Thanks for any help.

Green, sometimes Black, Screen - How do I transfer Photos and Files to Replacement?

I have a Samsung S22 Ultra (Verizon) that has a screen that was an oscillating green screen, then a solid green screen that looked like an algae puddle with layers and is now mostly black with a few green flashes every so often. I have requested a replacement phone which will arrive in a day or two.
A few weeks ago the front camera went opaque-ish and the image was blurry, then the camera started to get extremely hot, finally I noticed that the screen wasn't always responsive and often would black out when I opened an app and have to be woken up again.

I don't know if my phone was set to back up. I have a lot of photos I will be devastated to loose and some business data (downloads and texts) I don't want to loose either. I was hoping to be able to connect to the computer and just transfer photos and files to the computer (having done this in the past) but once connected, even though the computer recognizes the phone, it says there are no files. GULP. My computer recognizes it with bluetooth but what good is that if the phone screen doesn't work.

The phone reacts when plugged in. I hear notifications from e-mail, texts and messages. Someone has called and the phone rings. But with the screen wonky obviously I am not able to operate the phone and it's features.

Any suggestions on how to transfer my photos and files? Will a transfer take place between this phone and the new phone when they are connected with a cable even if the screen is nonfunctional? Has anyone tried to use the TV as a screen? I have a Samsung semi-smart TV with HDMI. I am just wrecked at the thought of loosing photos as I have been documenting a medical issue with one of my horses for 2 years, my daughter's wedding and on and on. I don't want to send this busted phone to the warranty center without retrieving this data but it's $250 if I don't send it in 30 days.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Help The phone app disappears after recent system update?

After a recent system security update to my phone, the phone calling app seems to be invisible when a phone call comes in. I can't answer the call, it doesn't pop up on my screen sometime, and if it does show up, it seems to disappear again. And sometimes I can't disconnect the call because the phone app has disappeared too. The phone call isn't even visible in the notification screen.

The phone is a Samsung S22 Ultra, with Android 13, and build number: TP1A.220624.014.S908WVLS2CWE1.
