I'm not sure what actually happened as I don't have any viruses according to multiple antivirus apps, but this one SWF file of 117kb supposedly coming from YouTube won't stop repeatedly downloading multiples of itself, and even when I delete it; it will just automatically download itself again and again. I disabled the YouTube stock app that came on this phone to no avail.
I've been repeatedly deleting this file for about 2 weeks now.
I took a screenshot of it in my downloads folder for those curious as it has an odd file name.
No, I didn't download any APK files or any apps outside of the Play Store and even then I was only downloading well known and commonly used apps, and nothing like random flashlight apps.
No matter what, I was generally exercising caution.

Can anyone help me with this problem?
I'd honestly appreciate it as this is getting very annoying now.

To be more specific on the build of the phone, it's the Samsung Galaxy A750 2018 version.

I wasn't sure where to place this since this is a more general question. I figured this section was the most general spot.

I recently got an old Ascend Mate 7 from a friend that I can do what ever with. I figured, I would try to build Android from source and then flash it to the device.

I have already downloaded the source code. I am about to build the source for the Ascend Mate 7. Then, I am found out that I might need to know the Device tree?

There seems to be some conflicting information. Using google's guide, all I need to know is the code name for the device and there we go. We can compile the source!

On the other hand, other guides state that I need to download the device identity such as the tree, vendor, and kernel and include this in the source.

So which is it? Should I just follow Google's guide or do I really need to know the device identity? If the latter, How do I search for the device tree, vendor, and kernel? More importantly, what are these and how do they work in relation to the Android source?

Also, I believe I will need manufacturer drivers for my phone to operate the peripherals. How do I download this? This might be a stretch but can't I get those files from the Mate 7?

I signed up for piano tiles 2 with my Facebook account long time ago and i played it alot and i have high scores and stuff but i had to delete the app ' Piano tiles 2' because i was running out of space so after i got enough space i downloaded it and whenever i try to login it shows up the following : login faild:you can't use Facebook to log in into this app or website because there's an issue with it's implementation of Facebook login.

So I bought a used Samsung Galaxy S9+ (Model: SM-G965U) that was factory unlocked for both GSM and CDMA use. It came with Android 8. I wanted to try out Tracfone as the carrier, so I got a SIM card from Tracfone that used Verizon's CDMA network. After configuring the SIM card and rebooting my phone, the phone started installing Verizon software, and apps, and now behaves like a Verizon phone. I now switched over to Mint Mobile, which I believe uses the T-Mobile network, but it still shows Verizon when the phone boots, and I can't get rid of that or the Verizon apps. The "Service provider SW ver." also still shows "VZW/XAA/SPR", so I'm wondering how to get rid of the "Verizonness" of the phone and get it back to normal. What I really want to do is allow the phone to be updated to Android 9.0. Is there any way to do this?

My new Z3 has the smallest keyboard ever. No idea what model. It has a large column on the right with lots of arrows that are surplus to requirements. The letters are so close together by it's almost unuseable. To crown it all, when I have got a page correct and I click save or send, the text changes by itself and I send a rubbish message. I have turned off autofill but makes no difference. Sam in any app Any solutions?

I have just bought Motorola G5s Plus. The phone is good, the only problem I am facing is that phone lags , when switching between apps. This mostly happens with Facebook app. Moreover, when using Facebook the app become unresponsive for couple of seconds.

I have tired the following solutions:

1. Restarting the phone.
2. Clearing the recent app cache.

P.S: The phone and Facebook app is update

So for a couple of days my inbox won't load, either on browser or in the app. I can see the messages recieved in the notification bar, and i can send messages but i can't see them in the app.

When you visit their apps in play store you can see there's a new profile page when we click on there Brand name.

Just curious to know, did they do that process by themselves or Play Store did that on their behalf??

So I have this problem where I'll be minding my own business and then immediately an ad will pop up on google chrome (which is not even my default browser) sadly i can't delete chrome unless i root my phone (clearly a dangerous option) so I don't know what to do.

Hi. I need to delete some photos from my 16gb Galaxy Tab A (version 8.1). Instructions say to select the ones I want to remove, click the three dots in the upper right corner and select "Delete from Device". However, when I click the three dots, the only option I get is "Move to Archive". Am I doing something wrong?

So aso today i figured out the CORRECT build prop line to enable Force 4x MSAA.

I have tried many kinds of lines but nothing worked and been trying since 2016 it's August 20, 2019 and finally got it working so here is the line you need to add to your build prop feel free to use it in your ROMs I also found a few other lines that works so I'll include them as well!
