I guess no-one remembers the Blackberry Storm giveaway. You texted answers to questions that were on posters spread around NYC. If you were right, they put you in a drawing to win. I won one even though I was in NC cuz someone posted the questions online and I texted a couple guesses.
Also redbull put boxes of energy shots spread all across the country and hid them all over in public places and left clues to find them.
I reckon this will be similar except they will leave coupons for redemeption.

@DroidLanding Consulted with Droid expert. Thinking that Droid #5 and #7 will be found in warmer climates while #3 should be located at higher altitude.
#3 has got to be in the mountains. #5 and #7 would be in warm cities like Miami, LA, etc. That's my guess..
I went to Best Buy this morning and they don't have any info on Droid X.

I would guess that #3 is somewhere in Denver... it is the Mile-high city after all.

I don't even know where to look for one of these if they mention my area. Does anyone have some experience with these scavenger hunts? Would I want to look around a Verizon store or maybe a major landmark? I doubt it'd just be sitting in some random bush outside of a building.

Oops, left that out. Definitely a "warm" climate in Phoenix. I was there last week and it was "only" 107...but it was a dry heat.
But let's all be realistic. Even if they specified the city with the next tweet, where the hell do you go? Just run around and randomly look under benches and in trash cans? This might last all the way until the actual release at the rate we're gettign clues!!!
