Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Finally got off the phone after 30 minutes talking with a VZW CSR and a supervisor.

The supervisor informed that he was unaware of any shipping delays with the HTC Droid Incredible and that my phone would be shipped on time.

Take it for what it's worth. I kind of do not believe him seeing as I received an email this morning from a CSR stating that my order may be delayed up to 5 days.

Still no firm shipping date from them.

Ordered mine in store on June 19th and was all ready to finally get my Incredible. The guy started showing me the accessories, etc. We talked for a good 5-10 minutes before he told me I'd have to wait. I have to wait until about July 18th!

I was in the store the day before (6/18) and the ship date was also one or two days earlier (7/16). this is going to be a long wait.

I'm tempted to switch my order to the Droid X and take advantage of the 8Gb installed with extra 16Gb card. It's just so dang big!

I read somewhere people are getting a free 2Gb card for their "troubles". Can anyone confirm/deny? Apparently it's a new SKU number.

6/7 here, ordered in store. On my receipt there is a Order Location and order #, but you can't use that to check the status online. Haven't tried to call to get any information yet. I'm scurrred to here what they might say.

Order date was 6/7 with a shipped by date of 6/28. The only reason why I called today was because of the email I received this morning stating that my order may be delayed 5 days.

It's funny how there is no consistency on the ship date. So far I have been told 6/28, 6/30 and 7/2.

I dont doubt it at all. Right now I still have the thought that they will catch up on the orders and my phone will come in super fast and early...that feeling diminishes a little every day...:(:D

its not for anyones "troubles" its because some apps require a sd card from what i understood. they have always come with the 2gb sd card

I hear ya - I was told THIS MORNING that I wouldn't ship till 7/1 - couple hours later I got a notice that it shipped.

From what I've read - they have come with one already installed BUT some of the new(er) shipments went with one installed AND an extra one in the box.
 
It's Friday, I'm working from home and no new news on the Dinc shipment (6/4). I see some have gotten notifications which is good, however. To torture me more, last night at a baggo tourney, a dude had the EVO. That phone is sick! Makes me want to upgrade to the X for that HUGE screen. I bet it's classified as a netbook in some countries.

I've been lurking here for a few weeks now and I finallyyy got my shipping information..hopefully it helps someone:

Order date: 6/2 in-store approximately 7pm
Location: Northern NJ
Promised ship date: 6/23
Actual ship date: 6/25
ETA: 6/29 before 7pm
Notification: NONE except the *611 phone activation recording

I called the store to get my tracking information and the person I got didn't seem very happy to give it to me, but whatever. I hope this gives some hope to my fellow 6/2'ers in northern NJ.

Complaint Filed with FTC: 6/24
Legal Affairs Division Called me, my order shipped WITH Tracking Number 6/25 With FREE service for 3 months due to my inconvienence!
Next Day Delivery is a lie. They are all shipping by what ever you originally agreed and paid for.

When I ordered the phone, the person in the store said it would ship 6/18 (yeah i know how funny that sounds now!). Then that night we had to call 611 about a mix up on our account and the lady on the phone also said it would ship 6/18.

Of course the 18th came and went and by then I had been on here and knew those people were smoking something funny to give me that date.

I sent an email to customer service and they said it would ship by 7/8. Its a little sad but that actually sounds more reasonable to me.

Looking forward to going crazy (or should I say MORE crazy) with ya'll!

Yep their shipping of 6/18 at this point is laughable....lolol....welcome to to local funny farm....
