Stick it out - from reading the other threads here, and other sites the DInc really is worth the wait. I know it sucks, but hang in there - we'll keep you company.
Oh - and I haven't called back yet BUT the other night when I sent an email to their executive offices.....it was apparently read by someone because I had a voice mail today from them.

I haven't got any info yet, but Verizon says to call them this Friday for a tracking number. My guess is that I probably won't get it till mid July. I've been on T-Mobile for years now and I just switched over to Verizon because I fell in love with the Dinc and the Sense UI. I just knew that I had to get it. I read these forums everyday to keep up on the news. The wait is gonna be painful.
Any other 6/18's out there?
Which email would this be? I would like to inform them of my customer satisfaction.
I think it was thursday night I posted a link from the verizon site to send an email to the president, then someone else posted for all the regional managers. I didn't expect anything from it but I'll call them tomorrow to see what they say. I did word it very nicely though - figured for anything to happen I had to at least SOUND rational.
Ill go digging around, wish me luck lol. I dont take any anger out on the VZ people. I want something, and the only way to get it is to not bitch them out for something they really dont have control over. All I want, aside from credit the the unuseable data plan they charged me for, is my phone by this weekend.
@BB only 30min away?! I would so drive to that warehouse & pick it up directly! Lol

6/18 here ): My rep told me it'll be shipped by 7/12 .. Which is another 2 weeks from noww!! )': This phone is making me so impatient lOl. Well, hopefully that was some insight for those who didn't know there ship date! But who knows, could change.

. I was curious about something .. what's a Dinc?That would be something if it arrived during the only couple hrs you're not home :O. You should have someone house sit for you then deliver the phone to you at work!

ok NOW I am REALLY ANGRY! I got my Phone this evening after picking it up at the FedEx Depot at Dulles Airport... I can't activate it till tommorow morning at the Verizon store because they have jacked up my account so bad no one can help me but the store manager.... I decide to open the phone put the battery in and charge it up so I can hit the Vz store in the morning... the BATTERY IS MISSING. Thats right... NO BATTERY!
I call Verizon and NO ANSWER..... The store better have a battery!

CSR told me there was a 5 day delay. I asked for compensation. I was told VZW was not offering any compensation. I then asked about the Private Sale notification of $50.00 off price of phone for re-upping on their 2 yr contract that another member on a forum had received in the mail. I asked her why I hadn't received the offer. CSR stated that the mailings had gone out to random customers. Upshot is that she took $50.00 off my next bill as a courtesy for my inconvenience. Meanwhile, CSR at store told me this evening that my phone should ship on the 30th. We shall see.
