i'm in SE AZ also.. I ordered at the Sierra Vista store on 6/9 ..hopefully mine ships tomorrow like they said.
You need to call VCS tomorrow and raise all kind of hell. The number is 1.800.922.0204 and yes I have called so much I've memorized it. One day we'll all look back at this and laugh, but till that day this S**T aint funny.
Eh...I was aware that there was a 2+ week wait (at the time), but the CS rep claimed that it would ship by 6/10. Shouldn't have believed him and gone ahead and ordered online so they would only be holding $200 hostage rather than $300.
It's actually the hubby's phone so I'm not super concerned about it getting here...He's still clinging onto the hope that I'm gonna let him keep his iPhone.
Plus...I'm horrible at raising hell. I just get pissed off and blurt out a few expletives and hang up!

I seem to have a discrepancy on my actual order number. My online order resulted in an email confirmation with a 10 digit order number, but my "sorry we're backordered, but here's 25 bucks" email received today, lists a 7 digit order number.
What's up with this? Which one is correct?
I sent an email to VZW and have yet to hear back, but I want to know which one everyone else got.

From what I have seen from earlier in this thread the order number on the "I'm sorry" e-mail is your *actual* order number in the Verizon system. Not the one you get with your Internet order e-mail (Makes no sense, I know). You can use the order number in the VZW e-mail in combination with the location code to see if they have already shipped your phone and you just haven't gotten the tracking e-mail yet. (Worked for me! Woot!)
The one I spoke to [CSR] said she's been getting cursed out ever since the email went out.

This morning, I too received the standard Verizon "I'm Sorry" email. Was excited at first thinking it might have been my tracking number, but I knew better. It's fine to give folks a heads up at this point, but this email should've gone out about two weeks ago. When I read it I rolled my eyes and thought, "Pfft... this is old news, Verizon."I get more accurate information in this thread.
So let's keep thinking positively -- yesterday saw a lot of email notifications and phone deliveries. Maybe today will bring the same. Let's hope they start picking up the pace and getting everyone their order.

I received that email as well this morning. I agree, this email should have gone out a lot earlier to us consumers.
Hopefully today we will receive our tracking info.
