Syntrix: Why would the plastic hard case or the phone be "done for" if you get anything inside from your pocket? Can't you just remove the case and wipe it with a micro fiber cloth?
I haven't had that problem with the hard plastic case. It is a pretty tight fit. So I wonder if what you are saying depends on the fit. Although, I conceive the possibility of that happening.

The next thing I ask him if he is going to spray my phone. He said Yes. I explained about what Zagg says about not spraying the phone. So, he cooperates to not do that. He doesn't wash his hands first. He doesn't ask me to turn off the device or remove the battery. Their using a squeegee that doesn't appear to be clean. The spray bottle was about 1/4 full and who knows how old. I'm noticing that he is not trying to just hold it by the corner and is making contact somewhat underneath the Zagg. Because he knows that I don't want water in my phone he tries to squeegee it upside down. Which is cool I guess out of respect. Then he gets nervous and thinks that he messed up. Turns out the girl smiling at him it appears was the one who really knew what she was doing. So, he says: "she's better at this, why don't let you her do it". I agreed to let her do it. I didn't say it, but it was nerving that she just didn't offer to do it in the first place and let him do it. I will ask if the person is experienced from now on. She seemed to know what she was doing. She didn't wash her hands. She tried to repair the job he did, but couldn't. It got on my nerves, because these installations should be the easiest when the original screen cover is first removed, now the phone has been introduced to dust. She opened a new Zagg and started the install. She sprayed to phone with not much more then a mist, which was not bad. She lined it up perfectly. She did appear to also make some contact (not as much though) with the underneath of the Zagg. When she was done, it appeared she did a good job. When the Droid light was off I could see this mist / adhesive underneath. I could also see what looked like some drip runs. She said the let it sit for 48 hours and this should be gone. She stated that you can use the phone now, but just don't put it in your pocket or an enclosed area so he can air out. So, I hardly used it afterwards, and let it sit until the next morning. I continued to use it little and keep the phone in an open area. I did though use it on the multimedia dock for my clock. 48 hours later I still basically see the same adhesive / mist look and the drip runs underneath the droid, albeit maybe not quite as visible, but visible when you have the phone off. It almost looks the same. Also, when you you put it on a white page on the phone you see the rainbow type micro grainy adhesive texture. There is also a two line defects that I have heard come standard on Zagg. This produces a slightly distracting two rainbow lines that are most obvious on lighter screen pages. I also think people need to explain better when they refer to this orange peel look. There is nothing orange about it. It's referring to the texture of an orange peel. I also, found rubbery texture didn't hurt the screen scrolling. It was suprising that it was just a different feel. The rubbery texture actually helps the accuracy of your scrolling across the screen. Any Thoughts?
