Hey everyone... Just wanted to check in to see how everyone is doing. Sounds like after the influx of deliveries things seemed to have cooled off a bit due to the holiday weekend. Again, please hang in there -- this phone really is WORTH IT!! :cool: I know you're all going to love it!!

Where are we at with most recent order date that has received shipping notice, most recent order date that has received their phone.

I'm still trying to work with it (former Blackberry Storm user).
It sure is lighter than that damm Storm!

haha thanx, and on the week of my delivery date im gonna be camping in yosemite. so yea probably wont see it till August..

I dont think id be able to relax and go camping knowing my phone was at my house waiting.

If today was your last day- nickelback,
I wish today was my last day to wait for my phone lol
 
Ok, I'm in a bit of a dilemma and need some advice.

On 6/21, I ordered my Incredible in the store on a relative's business account (this will be important later). A little before that, I also put my name on the Incredible waiting list at Best Buy.

Yesterday, I got a call from BB that they have an Incredible with my name on it! I called the guy I've been dealing with at the Verizon store (who has been very helpful to this point) now tells me that I can't cancel my existing order and buy the one from BB.

I realize this is a pretty unusual situation... If I stick with the order I placed, there is no telling when I'll actually get the phone. If I try to cancel the existing order, will BB be able to set me up on a business account (assuming I can get the owner of the account to come in with me)? What's the real story on being able to cancel an existing order?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to keep waiting for this thing, but I have a bad feeling this situation just can't be worked out.
 
Porkupyne's Incredible Chronicles - Day 2

The first day of playing with the Incredible went by so fast that I didn't even have time to jump on and say how great it was after receiving it (sorry about that for all of you waiting on updates). For anybody still waiting I was a 6/8 in-store order (processed same day) promised 6/28, 6/30, 7/1 and 7/9 ship dates. It actually shipped overnight shipping on 7/1 and arrived yesterday around 2:00 PM. After I played with it for a while I realized that I had actually forgotten the one thing that used to be at the TOP of my priorities when I would get a new phone. It is so amazing that this phone does SO many things that I completely forgot about which ringtones I wanted, lol. in the brief time I used the Moto Droid I actually grew quite fond of the Motorola "Drooooiiiid" notification sound, so I found a copy of it online and added it to my Incredible as well. All I can say for anybody waiting is that it is SOOOOOO worth the wait. I also read an article saying that an OTA update is coming that will allow the DInc to act as a 3G Wi-Fi hotspot and record 720p video just like the Droid X, so if either of those two features were causing you to question your decision then you have nothing to fear.

reginald- you or the account holder should be able to cancel you verizon order . The company would just get credited. I would think you would be able to order at best buy if the account holder ordered it for you. Verizon is probably telling you that so they dont lose the business.
